to fuel the night. they say this is how they celebrate. today's ipo will make facebook worth more than mcdonald's, ford and disney. mark zuckerberg will be ringing that opening bell at 6:30 this morning and facebook will be going public. amy hollyfield, abc7 news. when they do go public the ipo stands to make instant billionaires out of some of the investors the co-founder is in for a four billion dollar payday he has renounced his american citizenship but says he will pay all taxes he might owe. parker previously founded the music by ster site nabster and bono will turn a 90 million dollar investment into 1.5 billion in today's ipo. rest of us will get a chance to buy stock later in the day

as buyers for a profit starting at 8:00 this morning. some think the $38 opening price could double, maybe triple within hours. our team conference continues all morning. katie marzullo is following the frenzy. in an hour we go live to the nasdaq in new york to hear concern some investors have. and we'll be live in menlo park as mark zuckerberg rings the opening bell at 6:30. new this morning, one person was killed and others seriously injured in berkeley when their car crashed into a tree after 1:00 this morning on california and alston way in central berkeley officers found one victim dead at the scene it is one of the passengers. the driver and child in the car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. there was no other car involved.

detectives aren't saying why the vehicle crashed. hundreds in the north bay in the dark after fast winds brought down a powerline and sparked a fire in novato last night. terry mcsweeney is live on redwood boulevard. >> reporter: they are making progress, if you want to know what a headache is for pg&e crewmember all you have to do is look at this. look at this powerline leaning out over the street and the powerline is down looks like someone took a bowl of spa get if i and turned it upside down -- bowl of spaghetti and turned it upside. at the height of the outage several thousand customers were out because of the winds yesterday afternoon into the evening. video from last night before these 60,000 volt powerlines were deenergized. amazing pictures. the fear was that the pole leaning precariously over the street could come down at any

4:36 now. the city of berkeley spending $20,000 to review its police department's media policies two months after chief meehan was widely criticized for sending one of his sergeants to a reporter's home in the middle of the night to ask for a change in the story. the chief light later apologized calling his decision an error in judgment. a company in irvine has been hired to compare the berkeley police department with others when it comes to media relations and how to improve them. san jose will resume clearing out a few homeless camps temporarily. city officials agreed yesterday to cleanup three homeless camps over the next five weeks after dozens of residents complained. crews will begin dismanling a homeless camp by the end of the month also next month

along coyote creek. the decision comes nearly three months after police stopped providing security for cleanup crews because of legal concerns on how to handle homeless people's belongings. san francisco transportation agency meets this morning to consider expanding the use of forward-looking cameras on city buses those cameras have been looking out for vehicles that people park illegally in bus-home lanes. the program has cameras on 30 buses through chinatown and the financial district. they have more than doubled the number of citations issued to violators and that translates to a revenue increase from $187,000 in 2009 to the $314,000 this year. muni hopes to have 1,000 buses equipped with cameras by the middle of next year. yesterday were were talking about the winds. i was at at&t park and the

4:48. jurors begin deliberating today in the campaign corruption trial of former vice presidential nominee john edwards. attorneys made closing arguments yesterday. he has pleaded not guilty to charges he covered up his affair with one million dollars from campaign donors. if convicted he faces up to 30 years. more details are coming out about the trayvon martin shooting. documents say the 17-year-old was shot through the heart at close range. we see this video of trayvon martin at a 7-eleven buying candy and ice tea not long before he was shot. these pictures show the man who shot him, george dimmer man at the police station with injuries. -- the documents say he had a broken nose, bruises and bloody cuts to the back of his head. he was charged with second degree murder he claims
