thanks for joining us to start your week i'm kristen sze i'm eric thomas. >> topping our news no comment from golden state warriors ownership is reinforcing speculation that the team has reached an agreement to move from oakland to san francisco. katie marzullo is live in oakland with the reaction. >> reporter: it does seem there's another clue as to whether or not the warriors will be staying or moving. the clue is cryptic so you need interpret this for yourself. this morning there is a source telling espn that the team is close to making the move to san francisco. the source also says that the team wants to move and is committed to making it happen. the only official reaction we have from the team is a

statement that one of the owners released sunday. it says: "we are not prepared to make any announcements at this time." some are internshiping that as a nondenial of the move. -- a week ago san francisco mayor lee sent a letter all 11 city supervisors signed it. promising the big arena they say they can and will build on the waterfront. meanwhile, oakland mayor quan along with others are committed to keeping the team in oakland and say this is where the team should be and that's what they will do the battle still brewing. all of this can't happen until the current lease is up with the team in oakland. we are looking at 2017/2018 season.

katie marzullo, abc7 news. in a couple of hours wall street investors could get a clearer picture on facebook's start as a publicly trading company when the first full day of trading begins. mark zuckerberg rang nasdaq's opening bell friday from menlo park as his company's stock went public. trading wasn't scheduled until an hour and a half later that was delayed another half hour because of technical glitches at the nasdaq. that caused confusion and unease among traders. the price of facebook stock ended where it started at $38 a shower. oakland's leader consider banning -- the proposal refers to tools of violence used in recent occupy incidents may 1st, protesters used a fire

afghanistan says american troops will still be involved in combat after the u.s. officially shifts to a supporting role next year. general allen says the role includes coming to the aid of other nato troops he says american troops won't see answer of fighting until the end of 2014. back here funeral services held later this morning for a bay area soldier killed in afghanistan. 30-year-old staff sergeant thomas fogerty of alameda was killed on may 6th. his wife and two sons were joined by a group of veterans friday for the arrival of his casket. funeral services will be held at kaufman auditorium in alameda 11 a.m.. he will be laid to rest at arlington national cemetery in virginia at a future date. the wife of suspended sheriff ross mirkarimi is sharing her story exclusively with the abc7 news eye team.

good morning. live picture of san francisco financial district buildings you have a little low cloudiness with some drizzle for folks we'll check in with mike in a moment. 4:44 now. new details emerging about pressure problems with natural gas pipelines that pg&e is running into two years after the san bruno disaster. the chronicle reports the utility giant has accidentally over pressurized gas lines more than 120 times since the 2010 explosion and fire. the blast killed eight people. the majority of the surges reportedly happened onlines that snake through neighborhoods and deliver gas to homes and business. pg&e's top gas official says the utility will have zero tolerance for further pressure

cheese. two of the dead were found inside a collapsed ceramics company. in san francisco, hundreds of pg&e customers have their power back on this morning after a massive tree branch knocked down lines the branch came down at church and elizabeth street yesterday. it took pg&e crews well into the night to make repairs. the j church muni line was affected because part of the tree landed on light rail tracks police closed off church between 24th and 23rd while crews cleaned up. no word on what caused that branch to snap. >> don't know fit was breezy in san francisco, certainly on the peninsula it want. >> could have been old age. >> could have been. >> when we get to this time of the year trees on the edge start to break off because of the lack of water. i don't see any in this forecast either i see breezes out of the west this morning. good morning.

good ride. good news on amtrak's capital corridor they are adding a stop today at the santa clara university caltrain station. there is a slight schedule change because of that new stop. other mass transit systems no delays, bart, caltrain, ace and mimi -- ace and muni looking good now. oakland fire investigators expected to be back at the scene today of a warehouse fire that revealed an illegal marijuana growing operation. the fire broke out saturday morning inside a brooks street warehouse near the auto row section along broadway. firefighters discovered 500 pot plants in the building. investigators are still trying to pinpoint the cause of the blaze and figure out who rigged up an illegal electrical system for the pot grow. firefighters in southern california expect to fully contain a huge fire that broke out late saturday in fontana. the flames could be seen for miles. the fire quickly spread.
