>> this is abc7 news at five. >> back in jail tonight, short-lived freedom for george zimmerman. the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed unarmed teenager trayvon martin. >> good evening. unlike last time george zimmerman is being held tonight without bail. a judge revoked it last week, sag zimmerman and his wife lied to the court about his finances so he could get a lower won. abc news reporter gary has the story. >> just minutes before the 2:30 a.m. deadline, george zimmerman arrived at the jail in the custody of sheriff's deputies who had met him a short time earlier. he appeared heavier and may have been wearing a bullet prove vest. >> he worried about his wife,

about his family, about everybody who has to be in hiding because of the enormous frustration and anger and hatred that's spurred from this days. >> this time the sheriff's office had no intention of letting him hide, parading him in front of the camera. he's charged with the shooting of the 17-year-old ramon martin. he had his bail revoked and the judge said he misled the court about how much money they had available during a bail hearing, hiding the fact they raised $135,000 through a website. his attorney said they will file a motion for a new bond hearing monday. meanwhile he admits that his client's defense, which rests on the believability of his account, may have been damaged. >> it's a credibility damage with mr. zimmerman now that credibility has been attacked or tarnished, and now he's going to have to rehabilitate it. >> abc news, new york. >> back in the bay area, the san francisco giants are refusing to talk about a sexual assault investigation involving all-star third baseman pablo

sandoval. >> he's accrued of sexually assaulting a woman early friday morning. the shares department questioned him the day it happened. his attorney said his client is cooperating and is claiming the encounter was consensual. but the alleged victim told investigators she was too intoxicated to give consent. >> we enjoyed blue skies for today's giants games but some weather changes are coming. leigh glaser is here for the forecast. >>. >> you are exactly right. there is moisture to the north of us. here is the bay area. we are clear right now but it's not going to last too much terribly longer. we have a pretty good-looking cold front. the leading edge right here. live top that are 7hd already starting to pick up the moisture that's pushing toward the north coast and all of this is moving in our direction. in fact, here's a look at the actual funnel system area of low pressure here.

here's the actual front. all of this is heading in our direction. it looks like the rain will begin just in time for our monday morning commute. we will have more details on it coming up. >> thanks, leigh. a 57-year-old man in vallejo is vallejo's latest murder victim. he and three others were sprayed with gunfire in crest ranch park last night. we went there to find out more. >> today we learned the 57-year-old man who was killed last night was well-known in his neighborhood and well-liked. so vallejo police are trying to figure out why someone shot him and three other people. according to vallejo police the ball let's started flying about 8:15 saturday night at the crest ranch park. >> when officers responded to that, we also received calls from both of our hospitals that gunshot victims had shown up. >> four people were shot, one

die. police are not releasing many details about what prompted the shooting or the relation the victims have to each other. one neighbor who lives near the park was shocked because she knew the man. >> i hear shots all the time but when i heard who it was, it was really sad because one of the victims was a really nice guy. >> we aren't identifying the 57-year-old victim because police have not notified his family yet. but he was known as a harmless, often intoxicated neighbor wanderer. >> he kind of helped me set up in the mornings. >> he helped run cj's barring cue and fish, which was next door to his favorite liquor store. ice female friend was also hit by gunfire. >> all i know is i know it was a mistake because they aren't the type of crowd to be starting problems and causing trouble. >> please describe the other victims at a 35-year-old and

17-year-old. the grandfather of the 17-year-old identified him as curtis nelson and said the teenager is expected to survive his wounds. police only have minimal information on the shooter. >> there were reports after black male in a dark vehicle as being the shooter. >> and obviously police are still trying to get more information on that shooter. that would be key in this ongoing investigation. they believe that the four victims were all attending a sunset cookout there in the park. in vallejo, abc7 news. >> thank you. in other news tonight, as of tonight, united airlines is no longer operating at oakland international airport. the final united flight departed this afternoon. the airline announced in april, after 75 years servicing the east bay, it would stop service at oakland's airport because the flights aren't profitable anymore. united ran 11 flights a week to denver. they said southwest airlines will continue to serve the denver market with 28 weekly

flights. work continues on one of the main runways at san francisco's international airport. that runway is shut down and sfo is reporting flight delays from 302060 minutes. yesterday 36 flights were scrubbed. they are installing new lights designed to cut down on runway accidents. the runway is expect today reopen at 8:00 tomorrow morning. >> in nigeria a passenger plane carrying more than 150 people has crashed and right now it appears there are no survivors. the darrena air flight went down in a neighborhood just outside of lagos, nigeria's largest city. these photos show the burning wreckage. the plane hit two buildings. it's unknown how many people were hurt or killed on the ground. add to go the chaos, gawkers came around the wreckage making it difficult for rescuers to get to the soon. >> people cast their ballot today at the alameda county

courthouse. there was a steady stream of voters, but no crowds. one reason may be that 52% of registered voters in alameda county now vote by mail. be sure to stay with abc7 news for continuous up to the minute returns on tuesday night. >> san francisco's muni said its busiest lines will be back in service tomorrow morning. both will start running tomorrow morning at 5:00 a.m. they are running test trains along the rouse. the current bus route will end at midnight when regular owl service begins. the lines were closed may 25th for construction work. they replaced rail and made other road improvements along church, debost and carl streets. also tomorrow morning the san francisco bay ferry launches new service. ferries will begin running from the new oyster point terminal in

cancer at a los angeles hospital. he played a prisoner of war in the series hogan's heroes but he was best known as the host of family feud. during his six years on the game show he was known for his swaggering style, wisecracks ask kissing all the female's contestants. richard dawson was 79 years old. doctors are calling two new cancer treatment drugs game changers in the fight against the disease. they are called smart bomb drugs and are shown to be more effective and have far less side effects than chemotherapy. at a week land conference of research specialists in chicago, they described the way they attack cancer cells, leaving healthy drugs undamaged. one is called tdm-1 and is for certain types of breast cancer. >> in clinical trials now. it may be more available by next year, and the findings presented

conditions as we head into wednesday and thursday. let's go ahead and check in with live doppler 7 hd. you can definitely see just in the past two to three hours that the moisture is speeding in. crescent city to eureka. we are not that far from the moisture. all of this will be pressing south. it looks like the first band will hit the bay area just in time for the 5:00 a.m. commute tomorrow morning. here's a look at the cold front. all of this will be moving south tomorrow, and there is enough cold air behind this that we could be looking at a chance of some isolated thunderstorms. all right. here is our timing. 3:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. we will start to see the first rain bands move into the north bay. santa rosa, ukiah, that's 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. the early commuters, especially in the north bay, rain. some of this could be heavy at times in some locations. there's 7:00 a.m. the rain

starts to spread into the east bay over the golden gate bridge, down toward half moon bay and santa cruz. as we work our way through the course of the afternoon, you will see the rain starts to thin out a little bit. this is 5:00 monday afternoon. this is the 5:00 commute. this is when the winds will start to pick up as well with the gusts especially near the coast, close to 30 miles an hour. and my 9:00, 10:00 tomorrow night everything has moved on to the east. if you are traveling to the sierra, expect just about everything, snow, rain, strong winds, thunderstorms. and it will drop to 5,000 feet. snow possible at the higher passages. by late monday, early tuesday, 1 or 2 inches possible lake level. you will find some slow going there. carry the chains just in case. this is not a huge system but it will drop maybe half an inch of rain north of the golden gate bridge. elsewhere, trace amounts to a quarter of an inch, just enough
