details as far as what prompted the shooting. the people we talked to who know the man who was killed say he's not the kind of person who would go looking for trouble. for some people who live near crest ranch park, last night's shooting is a shock because one. victims is pretty well-known in the neighborhood. >> i hear shots all the time, but when i heard who it was, it was really sad because one of the victims was a really nice guy. >> we are not identifying the 57-year-old man who died because police are still trying to contact his next-of-kin. but neighbors say he was rushed to the hospital along with his 67-year-old friend. she is expected to survive her wounds. when officers were responding to that, we always received calls from both of their hospitals that gunshot victims had shown up. >> according to police, the shootings started at 8:15. a total of four people were hit by gunfire. a 35-year-old man was wounded in the warm and a 17-year-old suffered more serious injuries. his grandfather identified him as curtis they will on and said

he is expected to survive his injuries. so far investigators don't have much information on who or why someone opened fire. >> there were reports of a black male in a dark vehicle as being the shooter. >> the victim who died is described as a bit of a neighborhood drinker, but very likable. >> as far as we know, he didn't do anything to nobody. he came around, hung out, you know. i paid him to fix him a little food now and then, and he was are a good dude. >> i think it was a random shooting thing because they aren't that type to be causing problems. >> now, police have not yet made it clear if the four people were at the park together or if they just happened to be standing near each other when the shooting started. obviously it's a high priority for investigators to get more information on that shooter and hopefully make an arrest. reporting live in vallejo, abc7 news. >> thank you. the san francisco giants are refuse to go talk about a sexual assault investigation against one of its players.

all-star third baseman pablo sandoval is cooperating with the santa cruz county sheriff's department rashing what his lawyer called a consensual sexual relationship. a woman is accusing sandoval of attacking her at a resort early friday morning. the two met at a bar the night before. comcast sportsnet bay area is reporting the alleged victim told investigators she was too intoxicated to give consent. >> an emotional day is specked in court tomorrow. convicted triple murder edward ramos will hear statements from family members and other victims of his crime. ramos was found guilty last month of killing a father and his two sons in san francisco's excellor district back in 2008. prosecutors convince adjure that ramos fired at all three after mistaking them for gang members. ramos will be sentenced a week from tomorrow. we have some big weather changes coming to the bay. >> that's right, rain is on the way, and meteorologist leigh glaser has the wet forecast

>>. >> reporter: we saw a few vote he is who took advantage of early voting at city hall. election is this tuesday and according to early indications, turnout is expected to be relatively low. workers with the san francisco department of elections have been opening absentee ballots of that been trickling in, and based on those numbers, they expect voter turnout for this election to be around 35 to 40%. that's low considering this is a presidential primary election. the average for the last ten presidential elections has been 50% voter turnout. all of this may have something to do with the fact that president obama and mitt romney have virtually locked up their party nominations, unlike four years ago when both party nominees were still undecide when had it came time for california's primary. >> what's on the ballot always drives the election. in 2008, and that was the presidential primary was separate from the state primaries, you remember. if every primary for federal is june and state offices.

we do have a partial lunar eclipse overnight tonight. it will take place beginning at 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning looking southwest. only about 38% of the surface of the moon will be shadowed by the earth's surface, or earth's shadow, so just wanted to throw that out for you. of course, we probably won't be able to see it because of the clouds. can you see from our high watermark definition camera here, high clouds moving over the bay. it was a terrific day. 84 fairfield, 86 antioch, 79 in san rafael, 61 was the high in san francisco, 83 was the high in morgan hill. right now temperatures are coming down, but still quite mild. especially in the north bay. we are holding some 70s there. 75 in santa rosa. 59 in san francisco. 73 livermore, and 70 in san jose. so after a terrific day today, the cold front is going to move in, bringing showers and isolated thunderstorms, the possibility for monday. you will notice this thing.

it will be much cooler, windy with southwest wind gusts close to 30 miles an hour mainly near the coast. after this moves through we will dry out and expect to warm things up by midweek. here's a look at live doppler 7 hd. it is picking up the cold front up along the north coast. we will bring you down to the bay area. we still have a ways to go, but it is slowly sagging south, and it does look like it will move in just in time for that monday morning commute. here is the actual cold front. it slides south and the timing, as i mentioned, brings it in overnight. in fact, it looks like parts of the north bay will start to see some of the showers, around two or three tomorrow morning. ukiah downward santa rosa. here's 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. the north bay will have wet pavement to contend with. as we slide through seven, eight, nine o'clock, you see it

bringing in and bringing the wet pavement. by 5:00 tomorrow afternoon we might see some daytime heating and that would be the best chance of seeing some isolated thunderstorms. you see the 5:00 commute tomorrow afternoon is definitely going to be wet, and by 9:00, 10:00, this thing is out of here. if you are traveling to the sierra, get ready for just about anything, snow, rain, strong winds and thunderstorms likely. over the crest, 5 inches of snow is possible. the higher passes, bunt to two inches possible lake level by monday night, early tuesday morning. keep this that in mind, especially if you are driving in that direction expect to go do camping or bringing the kids up there. the rainfall, north of the golden gate bridge maybe half-inch and the rest of us maybe a quarter inch or less. what you will really notice tomorrow is just how much colder it will be, temperatures in the 60s, upper 50s across the bay area. winds will pick up. 56 for livermore tomorrow.
