see dark sky into the bay bridge toll metering lights just turned on no significant back-up into san francisco, incline moving well. traveling towards petaluma southbound 101 before petaluma boulevard south accident cleared to the median. police investigating a shooting that has left one person in critical condition. the shooting happened at 2:15 this morning in the bayview district. the victim was taken to san francisco general hospital. no word on motive, officers are still investigating. developing news here happening right now, two of san francisco's busiest muni lines have reopened to full regular service after being closed 10 days for construction. katie marzullo is live at 9th and irving. is it back to normal? >> reporter: everything is back to normal, happy to report. muni seems relieved, commuters

are happy the popular n judah line was shutdown almost 10 days also the j church line was disrupted. today is a relief for commuters this train came by 5:15 one of the first to begin running again since this morning's 5 a.m. reopening, so to speak. a fairly long shutdown and commuters said it did have inconveniences for them. a muni spokesperson says the company tried to make things as easy as possible. >> [ unintelligible ] nine days of hell. >> there was some inconvenience we did have bus shuttles to provide buses every three minutes to help our customers get where they needed to go. >> reporter: muni also saying that the shutdown was worth it and it was important. this video you see here we shot yesterday at church and dubose you can see what

commuters can hop aboard in alameda on jack london square. 40 minutes later they will arrive at the new oyster point ferry terminal in south san francisco. next week the rides are $7 each way remember, free this week. coming up, amy hollyfield will be live in alameda as the first ferry sets sail. we are learning that an american was the pilot of commercial airliner that crashed in niger 's largest city his identity has -- nigeria's largest city his identity has not been released yet. the plane slammed into two buildings surrounding homes and shops in the area. it is not known how many people were killed or hurt on the ground yet. the cause of the crash is under investigation. officials say the pilots had radioed in before the crash saying the plane had engine trouble. nigeria's president has declared three days of national mourning.

man accused in the murder of florida teenager trayvon martin is waking up in jail again this morning. his attorney expects to file a motion ford a new bond hearing. george zimmerman surrendered yesterday after the judge revoked his bail. he accused him of lying about how much money he has. police released these new booking photos. a website set up for his legal defense fun raised $135,000 during the time of his initial bond hearing in april. >> the man who oakland police say instigated a drive-by shooting in front of a police officer is behind bars this morning. 3:30 yesterday afternoon an officer watched the man opened fire this man, on the gurney, at people on the sidewalk at martin luther king, swrr way and 29th street. a chase began but ended quickly when the driver crashed into car in all three were injured one suffering a leg wound. this morning vallejo police continue to search for a gunman who killed a man and

the air we'll have more coming up. on the other side of the bay, one less airline serving oakland international airport. they've packed up and they are taking the friendly skies with them after 75 years in the east bay the final united flight departed oakland yesterday afternoon in april the airline announced it would end service there because the flights were no longer profitable. oakland officials say they still have southwest airlines which will continue to serve the denver market with 28 flights per week. one of the main runways at san francisco international is on track to reopen at 8:00 this morning. since friday night construction crews have been installing lights designed to cut down on runway accidents. expect delays this week if you use san francisco's great highway at 7:00 this morning city maintenance crews will begin annual san removal project relocating sand that spring winds have blown on to

a couple of problems westbound 580 before grant line left lane at first street livermore accident slowing things considerably into the dublin interchange. major transit news happening now. the bay area's first ever ferry service between the east bay and south san francisco is setting sail. amy hollyfield is live at the alameda ferry terminal. not a great day for a ferry ride but great incentive to try it. >> reporter: that's right, free all weeklong. not a lot of people are taking advantage of it this morning. the first ferry just pushed off a moment ago. there were plenty of seats left. i don't know if word has spread yet or people are uncertain about whether this is how they want to get to work. if you want to try it there is plenty of room. this is the first ferry to connect the east bay to the peninsula. some of the people we've talked to do work in south san francisco one woman works at sfo the people who were here were excited.

the new -- this is the first new ferry service added to the bay area since 1992, a 40 to 50 minute trip. they are leaving from alameda and jack london square and taking people to south san francisco. the rides are free all weeklong. expensive for the ferry service, but officials believe it is worth it. >> well, the importance of getting people excited about ourselves, getting them to sample the service, getting them to tell us what they like about it, what they don't like is invaluable for us, new operator on this line, we intend to make it work for commuters that's the best way to do it. >> reporter: there's quite a bit of excitement among businesses, including genentech which will be providing shuttles from the south san francisco terminal to its company to help employees out and encourage them to use the ferry. the ferry will be running from alameda and then oakland's jack london square to the new terminal in south san francisco, the next one to

[ inaudible ] the flames threatened nearby homes, no injuries. giants' slugger sandoval's return to the line-up may hinge on whether sexual assault charges are filed against him. a woman claims assaulted her early friday morning south of santa cruz. she told deputies she met him earlier downtown santa cruz. sandoval was last seen leaving the bar and restaurant after one in the morning with two men. the manager tells abc7 news that he did not see any women leaving with them. his attorney says the sexual encounter was consensual. >> this type of case is usually anything but lock solid it depends on credibility of witnesses whose credibility, whose

believerability, whose ability to remember is -- put in question because of the context in which this type of crime occurs. >> sheriffs say he's been cooperative with their investigation. in a few hours a judge is sentenced to -- is due to sentence ramos for the murder of a father and two sons, ramos faces life without row a jury convicted ramos of three counts of first degree murder for the shootings deaths of the father and sons. prosecutors call it a revenge shooting saying ramos mistakenly thought they were rival gang members. ramos admitted diving the car but says another man -- driving the car but says another man fired the gun. today santa rosa county dive teams plan to wrap up their search for missing sierra lamar. they've been searching the lake using radar but found no
