traffic backing up on to i-80. alameda county deputies have arrested a man they say shot at a deputy, ran into a home and took hostages, including a child. it began last night. terry mcsweeney is live at the still active scene. >> reporter: here we are three hours after the suspect turned himself in to police. we still have the crime scene tape that is the house where he held the hostages much of the night. look at the car at the center of this. this is the dark green saturn that the man was in when officers spotted him at 41st and international boulevard 8:00 last night. deputies say it was stolen. they tried to pull him over, the driver got out, took a shot at a deputy and two other people got out of car and made a run for it the car took off
