more than $4. prices have come down. average of 15 cents over the past two weeks. the burg survey puts the price of a gallon2 of regular at $3.48. cheapest in jackson, mississippi, $3.03. the most expensive, no surprise, san francisco, $4.95. the cheapest in california is in sacramento there is one concern, hurricane debby. she could change things. nine platforms in the gulf of mexico and one drilling rig have been evacuated because of the storm. those are only responsible for 2% of the u.s. production that is not expected to have a huge impact. if the storm grows that could change something to key your eye on. for now, good news to report. fueling up will not be so painful right now. experts are attributing this to a softening global economy that has cut demand for oil

and other commodities is the 11th week of decline the peak was april, nice timing for enough you who are planning to drive to your summer vacation spot. amy hollyfield, abc7 news. time 4:33. the alameda county sheriff's office investigating a police shooting in hayward last night. officers shot and wounded a suspect on the sidewalk. the shooting happened in front of a check cashing store. the business is not involved. the sheriff's office handling the investigation not releasing information about what led up to the shooting at 10:00 last night. we'll bring more information as soon as we are able to get. california highway patrol officer came out of this crash with minor injuries. his patrol car crashed on southbound 280 in san francisco, at 10:00 last night. no word on what caused the crash. it took rescuers half an hour to free the chp officer.

he was taken to the hospital complaining of back pain. >> man accused in april's shooting rampage and massacre at "cus university is due in court this -- at cus university is due in court. after the shooting spree police say he drove a car belonging to one of the victims to a safeway in alameda where he confessed. geo had been a nursing student at cus he was upset about not getting a refund. police looking for information on a man missing for nearly a week. family members have not heard from 22-year-old evan flannary since he left to meet a stranger he contacted on a social media phone site last tuesday evening. he was last seen wearing blue jeans, grey hooded sweatshirt.

see it is mostly clear maybe just a little a few clouds around cool once again today meteorologist lisa argen has a possible warm-up for us she will check out temperatures coming up. right now this story in tacoma, washington two kids were severely sunburned during a school field trip because the teachers were not allowed to put sunscreen on them. the 11-year-old and 9-year-old were so badly burned their mother rushed help to the hospital. they aren't just fair skinned zoe has a form of albinism. most schools do not allow sunscreen without a doctor's note. >> i can't see any justification for any school to tell a child they are not allowed to sunscreen. >> i think it is really -- >> really dumb. >> only state that allows sunscreen in school without a doctor's note is california.

filmmaker george lucas is donating one of his properties to a worthy cause. he's giving away a vacant building. the building will be demolished and turned into a park with bronze statues of indiana jones and yoda. the timeline for finishing the project will depend on how long the planning process takes. hundreds of thousands hit streets for gay pride across the u.s. over the weekend. in san francisco revelers celebrated the 42nd anniversary in a very colorful way. sergio quintana was in the midst of the largest celebration. ♪ ♪ ♪ ♪ >> reporter: the numbers aren't in yet, organizers say they expected about a million people to participate in this year's san francisco pride. among them revelers displaying hallmarks of the event plenty of skin and lots of colors.
