i'm eric thomas. and i'm kristen sze. developing news. san francisco homicide investigators are in the ingleside neighborhood where a man was shot and kill overnight. terry mcsweeney is live at the police station. >> reporter: just for clarification the police station investigators are working that case over in the ingleside district and what we have is a man find shot shortly after midnight and investigators are saying he has died. take a look at pictures from the scene. according to the police the shooting took place shortly after midnight. a neighbor called it in 12:20. there were three shots, a pause and five more shots. police arrived at the scene, firefighters, emergency crews, there was an effort, we are told, to revive the victim, but it was too late. he passed away. described only as a man in his 20s. police don't have a lot more than that right now because

again, it is maybe four hours ago that this transpired. interesting, this happened near niagara, a couple blocks from city college san francisco, the same street where five people were murdered earlier this year in march. that turned out to be a robbery that went bad. five people found killed, suspects arrested in that case. apparently, no relation just two blocks away. certainly brought back memories. again, not much information about motive or suspect in this case just a man in his 20s found murdered this morning shot to death near city college san francisco. terry mcsweeney, abc7 news. 4:32. after 7:00 our time, the u.s. supreme court will release its long awaited ruling on president obama's health care law the decision will affect nearly every american. katie marzullo is live in the breaking news center with a
