morning thanks for joining us i'm eric thomas. and i'm kristen sze new case of clergy sex abuse. fairfield police asking for the public's help after arresting a pastor last night for molestations going back nearly two decades. >> katie marzullo joins us with details. >> reporter: there morning fairfield police want people to come forward if you know anything about these cases any other alleged victims or if you are a vick testimony. last night police an -- if you air victim. last night the police arrested -- sorry wrong individual tkwhroefplt is -- wrong video. police moving quickly on this case. they are all adults now they claim the pastor molested them when they were children. investigators say the molestation happened at the church and in some cases he took naked pictures of the children. police have searched his home for evidence. i've called out to the fairfield police department to find out if they found anything in those searches. the diocese has planned full cooperation with the investigation. the defense in the assault trial against a man who beat a former priest he claims molested him as a trial may begin its case today. william lynch has pleaded not guilty to assaulting father lindner in 2010. lynn. claim he and his brother were raped by the former priest when they were children. the san francisco's ethics commission will here more testimony from suspended sheriff ross mirkarimi fighting to keep his job. he made a key admission and

officers arrived at his house the man pulled out a gun and fired a shot at police. officers returned fire killing the man no one else was hurt. the d.a.'s office has opened an investigation into the shooting. terry mcsweeney will have a live report coming up. new this morning alameda county judge accused of elder theft and perjury will not return to the bench while he faces criminal charges. judge paul seeman is accused of stealing 1.6 million dollars from his neighbors. prosecutors say he swindled his neighbors. his lawyer tells the contra costa times his client won't return to the bench until an outcome from the trial. less than two hours from now the suspect in the trayvon martin shooting returns to court in florida for another bail hearing. a judge will weigh several factors in deciding whether to set a second bond for george

zimmerman. the neighborhood watch volunteer who fatally shot mar din. the judge will -- zimmerman will have to persuade the judge he won't be deceptive again. his $150,000 bond was revoked earlier this month. a court battle begins next week over 30 million dollars in disputed santa clara county tax funds that were originally earmarked for the 49ers' stadium. a judge has set a hearing for next tuesday. attorneys will argue the money should be frozen until it is determined whether the money should go. the team filed a restraining order this week in an attempt to prevent santa clara county from spending the redevelopment funds on other items such as education. this morning residents are being credited with keeping a 50 acre brushfire from destroying homes in the east bay. neighbors in this upscale san ramon subdivision used
