here is the bay bridge toll plaza but we'll keeping an eye on the muni protestors and how it may impact you. >> eric: i'm eric thomas. >> kristen: and i'm kristen sze. in sunnyvale where a search is under way for two home invasion suspects near city hall. >> eric: these are live pictures of the scene. police activity is taking place around the area of south pastoria envy and evelyn avenue. they tell a photographer the suspects and they ran off. they are being helped by canine units. we'll continue to follow the situation throughout the newscast and online. >> kristen: warning to muni riders this morning, in a short while we could see a protest threatening to severely disrupt service from a fatal police

shooting a year ago today. amy hollyfield is live at church and market in san francisco. >> reporter: a muni spokesperson says they are aware this may happen today and it will take it into consideration as it provides service throughout the day. protestors say they are doing this now because it is the one-year anniversary of the death of kenneth harding. he died after a shootout with police. it was initially believed that police shot him. coroner ruled the bullet that killed the 19-year-old came from his own gun, some people in the bay view community don't believe it. he was wanted in connection with a death of a pregnant woman in seattle. those that are protesting believe harding was killed by san francisco police to protect muni and saving on backs of workers. this is what they have put out. they are calls for a protest today. they are calling for the

shutdown of muni service today starting at 6:00 this morning at 14th and mark. police tell us they are also aware. they plan to help facilitated their first amendment rights and to monitor the situation. amy hollyfield, "abc 7 news." >> eric: this morning, san jose authorities will take the first step in clearing out a homeless encampment in kel lef789 mark where suspicious fires have broken out the past two weeks. they battled this fire last tuesday and three other suspicious fires were set within a 12-hour period. warning signs will go up at 9:00 a.m. giving advance notice of the planned sweep of the encampment. they are hoping they will move their belongings out before then since the law requires them to store any property taken during the sweep. >> kristen: federal san francisco investigators are trying to figure out how someone

cut in a secure facility. it's located on twin peaks. they noticed the damage yesterday. they cut a small portion of the chain link fence though they never got inside. >> all the vital services that we employ to the city were not impacted. >> kristen: this facility is one of the broadcast points for police, fire and other city radio communications. because of that the f.b.i. was called in. the san francisco police are handling the investigation. >> eric: livermore police are investigating the circumstances involving the death of a man found in a livermore hotel. a worker found the body of a middle-aged man at first floor room yesterday morning. officers say there are no obvious signs of foul play so the death is being treated as suspicious until the coroner rules on the cause. >> kristen: a 22-year-old man from american canyon is facing charges for shooting at a benicia police officer. they arrested robert folster

after he evaded officers for almost 313 hours yesterday. he was driving a car that was reported stolen. he tried to drive away and shot at officer. in addition to those charges, he faces auto theft and possessing a stolen weapons charge. >> the life of. ross mirkarimi is expected to come to testify this. >> san francisco chronicle reports loe pez wants to be near her father who underwent major cancer surgery. they have raised nearly $1700 to pay for her round trip airfare after mayor ed lee declined to auto oos city funds for the ticket. >> the $68 billion high speed rail transit to call for an end to the project. it's facing several lawsuits and

political pressure not to spend the money. the lawsuit brought by several cities will be discussed at the state capitol this morning. they claim that the environmental review analysis relies on false information. pg&e will test sections of natural gas transmission lines along 280 in redwood city. it would involve a portion of the pipeline. pg&e is warning customers they may smell fainted odor of natural gas during the testing. >> three major wildfires continue to burn in california. the main fire is 2800 acre robber fire in the foothills. it's destroyed one home and threatened 170 more east of colfax. more gusty winds are expected today. a dozen people have been injured fighting the fire that broke out

drizzle to be needed more than periodically, let's put it that way. so the fog will pull back and we won't see a whole lot of clearing. it will take afternoon the noon hour. it will a cool day and not a wide range of temperatures. we are looking at numbers in the lower 50s to upper 50s. then by midday, mid-50s to around 60. so cool and breezy out there with a pretty good sea breeze up to 20 miles an hour. by the afternoon, some mid 70s is all we can manage around the bay today. looks like tomorrow, we'll be under the influence of this system, as well. it's going to take until wednesday until it moves out. >> good morning. we're starting off with a couple accidents. there is a new one in napa. leveroni road, an overturned car. it's in a ditch but emergency crews will head there and they might possibly have slow.

housing. >> eric: the women started to help just five children. they donated $11,000. that is enough to keep the orphanage with 17 children going for another six months. >> kristen: animal rights activists they are offering $10,000 to stop the plan to pay panhandlers to take care of unwanted pets. they are offering a program where they will offer them a small stipend to foster puppies. they have to live in housing and be mentally fit. supporters say the participants will benefit from the $50-75 a week stipend but people for the ethical treatment of animals, they say it's about the idea. the examiner reports the animal rights group the paid pet and partner plan is like playing russian roulette with a pet. washington signs off on a plan to give whales off the san

around 10-15 degrees today. yeah, we will look for the warmup by the end of workweek but we may add heated and humidity in terms of subtropical moisture. here is a look. out vapor imagery shows this low pressure to the north of us. it will drop to the south. as it does that increases the low clouds, the fog the marine layer getting about as tall as it gets, about 2500 feet deep. it will mix out should happen late tomorrow and wednesday. between now and then, breezy winds, 5-15 degrees cooler than average. more like a fall afternoon but they are probably liking night the central valley with 80 in sacramento. 90 in yosemite and low clouds and fog up and down the shoreline. 72 in san jose with afternoon sun. mist and drizzle, 63 in millbrae. san francisco is just 59 degrees
