the case but frankly doesn't think it changes anything. in the newsroom abc 7 news. >> thank you. and a san francisco sheriff lieutenant has been placed on leave following an alleged domestic violence incident at a local gym. the lieutenant was detained after getting into a dispute on thursday at gold's gym on market. this is video of him in the 2009 documentary "the butch factor". is he openly gay and faces charges of assault with intent to cause great bodily injury. police say the victim is someone he had a person relationship. >> two men suspected of brian stow made a brief court appear yengs today, one of them has changed attorneys and is now being represented by the public defender's office. prosecutors accuse them after tacking stow in the dodger stadium parking lot. both remain in custody and will return to court in

>> this coroner has not identified victims saying only it was a man and woman in their early 30s, neighbors called them samantha and james. fire officials say neighbors next door who called 911. so far investigators have not found smoke alarms in the unit where the man and woman died. >> there is at some point they tried to escape. >> the fire believed to have started down stairs in the kitchen area. bodies found in the bedroom, upstairs. >> they were not in bed. they were both found in places where it looked like they're making efforts to leave. and that is based on body position and location with relation to other places in the home. >> neighbor sarah thomas says she thought the woman worked a night shift job. >> i think she was a night

grand and had to pay $236 and she can click to make a payment right way. but she zrnt a discover card. >> my reaction was that someone stolen my identity opening a credit card. now i've got to ged rit of $10,000. >> she began clicking on the links and it required her to log into her account which she doesn't have. however, that was very lucky for her. >> she told me it was a phishing scam. >> barbara contacted discover card and found out this was a phony e mail, someone trying to get her information and money. >> we've seen phishing accounts he says bank web sites can be -- fake web sites can be convincing. >> it looked real. graphics were real. logo was real.

the facebook and twitter on the bottom looked real. and barbara contacted p on your side. we contacted discover that tells us a limited number of e mails were sent. the e mail was not originated from discover. the company would not say whether anyone gave money or personal data to the scammers. however, it did say that we have taken prormt action to shut down the source. when barbara kicked -- clicked on the e mail it shows broken links and thankfully, all she lost was a peaceful sunday. >> in the a great feeling on a sunday morning. >> and discover says it will never send an e mail containing links to make a payment f you get an e mail just delete it then got to the

tonight locally across the bay. >> there is a familiar pattern, low center of high pressure off shore and low pressure inland. a gentle sea breeze and this pattern a quiet, mild pattern throughout friday before things start to change. during overnight hours there is fog pushing locally across the bay. low temperatures into a narrow range about mid-50s much of the bay area. and then, 5:00 in the moshing we'll start animation and see fog beginning to pull back to the coastline. then burning away from the coast like today almost a carbon copy of the commission. so will be sfiz into afternoon from coast to inland again with high temperatures ranging from 60s at the coast to 70s around the bay. low to mid-80s inland. and south bay, 78 santa clara. 79 in san jose up to 80s in

the era of tax-free shopping online may be coming to an end. congress is working on a bill by a bay area representative. >> this continues to kif yid silicon valley. here is abc 7 news david louie. >> if they don't feel like they've done their home work. >> ann manages this small bookstore. small businesses complain they lose sales to consumer who's take advantage of tax free online shopping. there is a bill making its way through washington to require all online retailers to collect sales tax autos if a republican and a democrat can come together on a bill that is dealing with tax issues the time has come to resolve this issue. >> however, this is getting
