planned, gay rights supporters are asking for same-sex couples to come to these restaurants this friday and kiss. i asked the owner about that she is taking one day, one customer at a time. amy hollyfield, "abc 7 news." >> eric: other news, san francisco police are looking for answers following a series of fatal shootings in the visitacion neighborhood. it has claimed four lives in past four days, one victim was gunned down last night. terry mcsweeney is live at the hall of justice. >> reporter: san francisco police are not saying this is gang-related although i was out visitacion valley neighborhood and folks say it definitely is. what can san francisco list do in addition to what they have already done? in june they sent ten new officers to deal with the problem and right now it doesn't seem to be working. >> police plot their next move,

wilma makes the same moves she makes every morning. she takes her granddaughter to the bus stop. she fears for her daughter's safety and for her own. >> in the last year, i don't know 15 kids have gone. i seen them go home to funerals. why are we dying? >> one died last night on san bruno avenue. another is fighting for his life. two men walked up in front of a building and shot them and ran to a waiting white ford driven by a woman. there have been no arrests. >> no neighborhood, all kids to train and get skills and learn. i don't want to see no kids dying. >> she is talking about monday's double killing in broad daylight. it happened during a huge fight. police are not saying they are gang-related. >> another woman out here who

way to mexico. last night fund-raiser was held for the couple's three children. all the money raised will go to the kids who will now be raised by a family member. police think the suspect was killed because mary bell broke up with him to reunite with the father of their children. >> sierra lamar missing. torres the man accused of killing her was recently appointed a new attorney. supports of the lamar family showed up at the courthouse for a hearing. many of them have been involved in the search for the missing 15-year-old. >> a loud blasted woke up one neighborhood to a potentially dangerous prank. seven several people called police.

they found the remnants of what appears to be an exploded soda bottle there was another bottle that could make it explode. they have had a few cases like this recently. >> sometimes it turns out to be teenagers or younger people looking for something to do. unfortunately it's extremely dangerous. when it's detonated it throws degree for united states of feet. >> they dealt with it. >> experts point out people can be injured by plastic fragments when bottles like that explode. >> smoke rising from a house fire in martinez. two people escaped unharmed. 42 kept the flames from spreading around the home. investigators are trying find out what started that fire. >> campbell police didn't have to go far to investigate a bizarre theft in their city. somebody stole a six foot tall

we made it to wednesday, halfway through the week, halfway through the day and clouds hovering around the golden gate bridge and deck of clouds but it is going to open up for sunday even along the coast later on this afternoon. speaking of the coast, santa cruz still pretty cloudy. those clouds will break up and a lot of sunshine along the boardwalk in the afternoon hours. live doppler 7 hd. i expanded out and three hours worth of radar. you can see what is happening in southern california, showers brewing as temperatures are warming to the upper 90s and hundreds expect more storms down there and they had flash flooding outside of san diego and record warm temperatures because of the humidity down there. back here at home, you can see how quiet it is. take a look and see what is going on. the clouds are dissipating.
