campaign headquarters is boarded 77 after they went on a rampage and smashed windows. vandals hit it on 16th street. people on the crowd threw rocked and used some kind of tool to shatter the glass. several car windows were smashed last night. obama campaign workers had h finished a training center and they were dancing in the street. they tell us that is when rocks started flying. >> they started yelling and shooting painted balls and throwing rocks. one guy had a thing busting out the window. i got paint all over me and everything. >> some think the backlash stems from the federal crackdown on medical marijuana dispensaries. they made no arrests. there were no injuries. oakland police say two of on

weekend. keep that in mind if you head out to the fremont festival today. also san jose, petaluma, music festival and taste of downtown livermore with perhaps 80 degrees there. live doppler 7 hd shows that we're looking at all the cloud cover. low clouds and fog moved across the bay. over 2,000 feet deep this morning. few returns out there but the main activity has been offshore, from santa barbara to bakersfield, getting reports of light rain around salinas. today don't expected clear skies. this moisture is going to be pulled up into parts of the bay area and the mechanism that could provide a thunderstorm is sitting offshore. that, too, will move overhead later today. 46 in oakland. santa rosa, 52. we've got 54 at half moon bay. not a lot of change in

temperature at our coast today. partly cloudy with patchy fog, dry lightning north bay mountains, sonoma, napa and lake county, today mainly tonight through the afternoon. we are looking at temperatures warming up again into negligence week. near hundred degrees by the end of the workweek. here is a look at the fog forecast. you'll notice not much in the way of sun with temperatures today because of that on the cool side. there is little break in the east bay. that will continue to be our sunny spot today. there is the mechanism that could drive this moisture in the form of a thunderstorm throughout the southern sierra and northern sierra and the moisture plume is wrapping around into lake county. it's a lot of heat in fresno. 100 there with cooler marine air reaching into the central valley. 88 in sacramento. feeling pretty good there. risk of thunder and lake tahoe,

>> terry: topping the news, in oklahoma, dozens of homes and day-care center have been destroyed by a fire that appears to have been deliberately set. hundreds of families have been told to leave their homes with record heat with temperatures forecast to be above 110 degrees. >> reporter: oklahoma up in flames, dozens of homes and buildings including a day-care center torched. throughout the night an all out battle to contain the fire now misled across 80 square miles. >> the fire is slowing down but we do have numerous units and forces coming in to help us. >> reporter: more than a hundred people forced to leave their homes. >> i don't want to lose my home. >> helicopters dumped water on the blaze with the help of more than 30 fire departments. biggest challenge the record 113

state finance officials uncovered. >> reporter: a sweeping audit of california's 560 special funds ordered by the governor found that $54 million hidden in the parks department budget for more than a decade was an anomaly. >> this makes it clear, there are no other hidden pots of money. >> but auditors found more than $400 million in discrepancies blamed on accounting methods and just plain old human error. for example the victims compensation fund has an extra $29 million now. that is money from criminals who must pay restitution to their victims. the state disperses the fund for counseling, emergency relocation or burial services. >> i'm a little concerned. where was this money and why did it happen. >> they say the fund went nearly

red flag warning. temperatures will warm up beginning monday. low cloudiness and high clouds for 1:00, clearing will be east of the bay here. notice lots of cloud cover even in the mist and drizzle along the coast by 5:00 we've got mostly to partly cloudy skies around the bay. as a result, cool temperatures. here water vapor imagery. you can see from this picture that the moisture is being pulled up from the south. the mechanism that could fire off the thunderstorms is to the west of us. it's all going to pull up over the bay area today and across california. so overnight tonight into tomorrow is the best chance for the dry lightning, those strong outflow winds up to 50 miles an hour in the sierra nevada. northern and southern sierra and lake county and closer to home. we'll be looking at higher clouds and spine of the sierra with maybe a little bit of moisture, more than anything it's the dry fuels that could spread quickly and the lower
