long lines when it opens. >> there is more than a thousand people have contacted chevron complaining they've been affected by the fire you and know, that is an overwhelming number and that is why chevron decided to open up this temporary claims off here on sixth street. chevron hopes to response to all of the claims within three days. this is while several agencies are at the refinery investigating the fire and now, the feds are involved. >> investigators from the federal agency charged with looking at serious accidents is at chevron refinery. the team from the u.s. chemical safety board is still waiting for cal osha to give permission to go into unit four where this fire occurred monday. but they've begun checking records and interviewing witnesses.

air lines are doing much better when it comes to arriving on time and not losing bags. u.s. department of transportation says 84% of flights landed within 15 minutes. that is the best record since 1988. also, only three in every thousand bags are lost or danieled, also a record in nearly three decades. faa officials praise the industry. some consumers are not quite so impressed. >> i think peak passengers deserve to be treated fairly. and really they are improved service. >> this seems everyone is antiairline i feel like. they don't seem to be doing anything to fix that image. >> it makes ontime arrivals
