chevron hopes to respond to claims within three days. now, this is the report that chevron had to give contra costa county health services by the end of the business day, today, it's a basic report and there are only four pages. much of the information the public knows. how, chevron says there are five injuries instead of three. but that those injuries are nor. workers went back to work. the investigation is continuing. garden of comfort has been providing fresh vegetables for folks here in this neighborhood. the director is worried fire contaminated soil and produce and henderson wonders if she'll have to start over. >> i have to pull everything up. and i don't know if i'm going to have to remove my soil. >> henderson and others pondered filing claims a team

from washington joined investigators. investigators from the federal agency charged with looking at serious chemical accidents is at the chevron refinery. the seven-member team is still waiting for cal osha to give permission to go into unit four. and there is data, checking records, and interviewing witnesses. board member mark griffin says there is one of one of several investigations around the country. >> we're concerned about the continued frequency as well as ongoing safety problems throughout the country. >> the investigations continued at the refinery, chevron made preparations at the nevin center for tomorrow's opening of the claims office. and huge crowds have been filling the office of this law

hundreds of people waited in hours for a chance to get a job at target's new store. it's day one of a three day job fair. abc 7 news joins us live where that store will be located. >> and let me just start out by saying this is the price for having a store in downtown san francisco. you can get nice, loud music. the lines are gone right now. i just went up stairs and there are only a few people left. a target spokesperson just told me that they have hired 100 people on the spot. and they still have to do a background check. now, the lines this morning were very long, people arrived

chrysler today acknowledged a phone shallly dangerous problem in jeep brand vehicles. first reported here chrysler issued a service bulletin about what it calls a steering shimmy issue. some nicknamed it the death wobble. >> the chrysler announcement came from this bulletin says vehicles equipped with an axel may exhibit wobble and there.

>> it is a scary experience. a violent shaking that usually hits at highway speeds to make a turn or hit a bump. these show how frequently this happens and this st so common it has a nickname. the death wobble because it's so jarring. i experienced it in my own jeep wrangler. this vehicle hit a bump at 50 miles per hour. and here comes the shaking. this is where you can see the wheels wobbling. the i team found hundreds of people with similar experiences. and since 1995 we've found 600 complaints about the wobbling, mostly wrangler, since 1997. no deaths have been reported but at least five people report being injured. many drivers express
