good morning i'm katie marzullo in for eric thomas. and i'm kristen sze. breaking news near clear lake. two wildfires through the night forced 350 residents to evacuate. video shows huge flames quickly consuming the extremely dry grass, brush and trees before sunset. we got video of the burned out ruins of one home from sky 7 hd. several smaller buildings burned as well. calfire confirming one destroyed. zero containment now. crews hoped to take advantage of cooler overnight temperatures to make progress. the first concern was to evacuate people who live in the fire's path. evacuations in the spring valley subdivision of clear lake s. >> you could see the orange and black as we were driving out we could see trees on fire.

you couldn't see in front of you. different billows of smoke you are breathing this is tough. >> amy hollyfield will have the latest in a live report from a calfire station coming up. we want to check in with meteorologist mike nicco to find out about the weather conditions in the fire area. right now things are clear as you look at clearlake oaks, clearlake and the other lake. you can see still in the mid 70s there very warm this morning around the lake, winds okay five miles per hour. about 4:00 this afternoon you can see temperatures are going to top out near 100, winds going to pick up near clear oaks, clear lake and lower lake 10 to 12 miles per hour gusts higher in some of those valleys. gusts higher around the fire also. looks like a tough go for

firefighters because of the heat and the breezes into the afternoon. more on that in a few minutes. better news on another wildfire. authorities have lifted a mandatory evacuation order for homeowners near the fresno county town of tollhouse. the fire broke out saturday afternoon, the flames threat 200 homes. firefighters had the fire 80% contained, last word local companies helping calfire. investigators say it was started by a discarded cigarette butt. this morning federal investigators in richmond to begin their investigation of the huge fire at the chevron refinery. after reviewing documents and interviewing witnesses the safety board has determined the fire may have been caused by a leak from a corroded 40-year-old pipe. investigators will test the leaking section of the pipe and review the emergency notification system.

also today chevron will reopen its claim center for people wanting to file claims again the company. the office at nevin community center opens at 9 a.m.. you can file by calling: 866-260-7881, toll free. we have the number and address at abc7news.com under see it on tv. construction work will resume this morning on a gasline near the scene of the deadly san bruno explosion and fire in 2010. work came to a stop thursday on earl and glen view drive after crews accidentally cut into the line. pg&e says the gasline was clearly marked. a contractor hired by the city to install new water lines used a backhoe to dig a drench instead of doing the work by hand as recommended. the legal battle over the multi-million dollar estate of thomas kincade head back to

court today. his widow is struggling to regain control of the estate against his live-in girlfriend. amy pinto claims two hand-written wills leave her the mansion and 10 million dollars to establish a museum of his artwork. lawyers for nanette kincade, his wife of 30 years filed papers contesting those wills. pinto-walsh refuses to move out of the home. kincade died in april from a lethal combination of alcohol and valium. police in oakland searching for a gunman involved in a shooting that left two injured. yesterday someone opened fire on two people inside a car diving through the intersection of 12th and mandela parkway. the driver was shot several times and crashed into a tree. the passenger was also hit. one victim still this critical. no word from police on a motive.

worshippers in wisconsin held their first sunday service yesterday since a gunman shot and killed six people at their temple. in the bay area people came together in san francisco's union square last night to show solidarity by holding a candlelight vigil. sergio cantana shows how people of all faiths are reaching out. >> reporter: at fremont sikh temple, a special service for the six people killed last weekend in wisconsin by a gunman. they say the healing process is ongoing. >> today the spirits are coming back. >> reporter: people gave money for a fund to benefit the wisconsin families affected by the shooting and children signed on to a pledge against violence. community representatives joined in the memorials. >> obviously, the sikh community was highlighted this last week for the tragedy. but people should do more to learn about this beautiful
