because it let's babies interact with the world. however, this is the frightening possibility. there are children flipping out of the chair and onto the ground. the cpsc says there were 46 falls and 14 babies fractured their skulls. after our investigation bumbo recalled the chair. the company changed its packaging and added bigger warnings not to place the chair up high, then, bumbo went back on the market. 84 more, 24 suffering skull fracture autos there is a safety enhancement in the form of an added restraint belt. >> the company removed the chairs from store shelves, again. it will add a safety harness, offering parents a free fix it kit. this is explaining how to

install the fix. >> i think it will keep them from popping out of the device but not for all children and not in every circumstance that i can imagine. >> this consumer advocate has concerned. what if they tip over and the belt brings a seat along for the ride? >> this product has risks to it and parents need to know that. and will this be the fix? the consumer products safety commission only says it will be safer. the agency would not ach year on camera but the spokesman said the children were wriggling out of a chair. there is no fix that will make any product completely safe. we came to the conclusion that this restraint belt will, we believe make the product safer. we asked does this mean more tip something.

into this area, and that moisture could produce a sprinkle late tomorrow into early saturday but there is a possibility quite low. at 5:00 in the morning there will be areas of fog around the fog and there is a spread of temperatures from low 60s near the coast. 80s and the 0s inland. and in the south bay tomorrow, sunny skies highs into low to mid-80s. there is 80s in mountain view. 61 in half moon bay. downtown san francisco there is a highs into 80s. 93 in clover dale. there is 80s in fremont.

san francisco police department's antiquated computer system is being blamed for under reporting asian and hispanic arrests for years. resulting in the state publishing false statistics. abc 7 news reporter vic lee

has the story. each time police make an arrest they file a report with detailed information. when they're booked the sheriff's office records the suspect's race. that information is then entered into the court management system. a computer program that shared by bay area law enforcement agencies and the courts, the racial tracking data then sent to the state department of justice. it publishes the information. >> unfortunately the court management system is 30 years old, only capable of performing certain functions. >> from the 70s, there is a system that we use to run individuals. >> this skews data by listing arrestees only as white including hispanic, black and other. >> and in 2012 in san

francisco, about 8,000 african americans were arrested. 9,000 white as rested and 2700 others. there are 316 arrested by outside police agencies. and the justice department, san francisco place arrested. the supervisor says there is no way of knowing if they have been racially profiled. that is why police departments need to compile this data. when people want to know how the police are doing you can objectively point to information and data collected to show that. >> in the past the city office of information systems sent the data to the justice department but the sheriff's office became the agency forwarding information. we're told the police commission will take up the matter in a week or two.

money matters cisco beats the street warning wall street not to expect much this quarter because of the weak economy but the company posted a profit up 56%. and declared a generous dividend for stock holders. the economy does seem to be improving. and the government said factories pumped out more cars and computers and confidence among home builders reached a five year high. google upgraded it's happening service for smart phones now including routes and departure times in nearly 500 cities. talking about a million stations around the world.
