turn like a foul ball shanked into left field. according to the new york daily new york cabrera concocted a cover store to explain away his positive test for testosterone. the paper says an associate name juan none yes created a fake web site supposedly selling a substance, it was meant to give cabrera an out when he appealed the test. the daily news says the web site defense started to fall apart during the investigation. california watch reporter lance williams, who rote about the balco scandal, says even he didn't see this coming. >> making a bad situation worse but i understand the impulse. it's beside to get caught with performance enhancers and other guys have come up with stories and opposite in a while the story works. typically the story is i unknowingly took a substance. my supplement was contaminated

or whatever. i was prescribed it for medical condition. this is a variant on those, with the fake web site layered in. >> surprise, surprise. everybody has an agenda, and this is what we do in america, and sometimes we should be embarrassed. >> cabrera admitted the testosterone use and was suspended for 50 games without pay. nunez is a paid consultant but not employee of cabrera's two agents. the agents denied any involvement in this. there's no comment from the giants. however the paper is reporting that major league baseball and federal investigators will be trying to fine the source of the illegal testosterone. >> ama: ross mirkarimi claims powerful city leaders are writing their own rules. he left from the office of his wife's attorney. he was found guilty of official

misdon duct last week by the ethics commission over a domestic violence incident on new year's eve. he said the ethics committee hearings proved city leaders will do anything to remove him from office. >> constitutional crisis. but the fact is they might be manipulating what is vague parts of the charter in order to apply those am big giewtz towards favoring a powerful office, meaning the chief executive, the mayor to try to out another elect peer. >> ama: the board of supervisors will decide if he will permanently lose his job. a massive wildfire is threatening 3500 homes in more than california. here's what it looks like from the air. calfire says the fire grew from 5,000 to 12,000 acres overnight and 0% containment. burning in sass to -- shasta.

moisture has since started to move on out. when we head into monday night and tuesday, it will not be lightning strikes but some very strong southwesterly winds that will kick up. some very low relative humidities. so that fire watch is in effect for much of the tahoe region, towards shasta and points to the north for tuesday, for the low relative humidity levels, very try conditions, and strong winds. we'll look at the forecast coming up. >> ama: right now hundreds of homes in idaho are under a mandatory evacuation order. they're in an area of recreation getaways about 100 miles northeast of boise. they're in thepath of a 130 square mile wildfire that has been burping for two weeks. >> in washington state residents return home to find smoldering rubble. the fire is now 43% contained. fire officials expect the wildfire to be contained by

tomorrow if in the weather remains favorable. >> in vallejo vallejo for the third time in a month a vacant building went up in flames and tonight fire investigators believe squatters are to blame. it happened at a vacant army supply store at 7:00 this morning. the third fire on couch street. the last fire was next door. investigators were on the scene this afternoon and say there are indications that people were inside the building before the fear started. an eight-year-old girl from fairfax is take stang against human trafficking one glass of lemonade at a time. vivian calls her business, make a stab lemonade. and not her inspiration after seeing a book of pictures about world slavery. >> we have to do something. and so i said, how about lemonade. and so -- then i thought about and it they said, actually, that could work. >> ama: and it its working,

>> ama: san francisco is known for great restaurants and now another topped a new list. state bird provisions on fillmore street was ranked as the number one restaurant in bon appetite. the only restaurant in california to rank this year is a restaurant in los angeles. from the best to the worst. if you're having a hard time getting a loan you're not the only one. california is the fifth worst state to get a loan thanks to high up employment, bankruptcies and foreclosures. according to cardratings.com, a financial education web site, the worst state to get a loan is evidence in dark followed by georgia, florida, and arizona. the best state? north dakota. >> in los angeles county a man is recovering after being trapped in a well for more than 24 hours. this is the moment he was pull to safety. the well, six feet deep, is located in the middle of the desert near little rock, about 30 miles from the nearest town. the man was win wedged in tight.

79 in san rafael. 59 degrees where the low clouds sat right near san francisco off and on today and 74 was the high in san jose. temperatures dropping off. antioch, 88. 55 in oakland. 57, san francisco. 70, san jose. the areas of low clouds and fog will be with us overnight. mist and trilzer in the -- drizzle on the coast, and then we'll continue with the gradual cooling trend through the middle part of our work week. lows tonight, upper 50s to near 60 degrees. inhappen locations, otherwise we'll look for generally mid-to-low 50s. 51 for half moon bay, and remember the fog will move back in. in fact overnight tonight you can get a sense it is going to be out towards the delta. this 5eus a.m. tomorrow morning, and then it will quickly evaporate, push back to the coast at 3:00. so we're planning for sunshine
