hour's drive east of redding. crews report the fire is only 5% contained so this is a dangerous situation and burned 23 square miles so far and it is huge. this is one of several large fire autos we are having an active fire scene. men and women on the lines today continue to do just an outstanding job to protect our communities. >> the head of the independent federal agency investigating the fire in chevron two weeks ago just finished touring the plant. and the team looked through parts of the site. the investigators still trying to find the cause of the fire which sent thick plumes of smoke into the sky for hours making thousands of nearby

residents sick. and we're going to have a live report at 6:00. >> a 75-year-old bicyclist killed today in burlingame. he apparently turned into the side of the tree trimming truck. police say the bicyclist was riding southbound on cortez avenue today and riding legally on the righthand side of the roadway. behind him a truck heading in the same direction. the truck passed the bicyclist turned left into the path of the truck and just run over. police say it appears to be an accident and the truck driver is cooperating with the investigation. >> and water service has been restored to saratoga customer that's went without it for hours this morning after a water main broke. the main burst about 5:00 this morning and caused part of the road to collapse. and look at that. crews had to close part of the roadway working to repair the

people around the country rallying in support of a 12-year-old too big to play pee we football. the 7th braider spent weeks practicing only to be told official weigh in he could not play because of the 135 pound weight limit. his mother is outraged saying it was humiliating. the coach was fired. the league president explained what happened. >> i said there is no need of letting the boy go through the weigh n i good did that and they, a mother and son said that -- i hurt their feelings. i went and apologized to the kid. i didn't want to do anything to hurt feelings.
