january had nothing to do with them, that was at the national level as a result they are taking a hit organizations such as breast cancer emergency fund behind me, could pay. the national susan g. komen decide today back out of their funding of planned parenthood, because it was congressional investigation. they don't fund organizations under congressional investigation. there was such an uproar they changed their position, but it was too late. now there is trouble. you can see the women here, you have seen them on tv, in person and the walk brings in a huge chunk of local agencies 1.6 million dollars in revenues, 1.1 goes to hospitals and clinics. 30% fewer people signed up because of the controversy for the breast cancer emergency fund that mean a cut of $100,000 and 100 fewer victims helped. >> the thing to remember is the money that comes from these local walks stays in local communities all this

controversy at the national level has nothing to do with the services and women in this community who need those services. >> planned parenthood announced this week it has received so many donations from angry former donors it is going to add more breast cancer services. planned parenthood received more than three million dollars within four days after the controversy in january so it will spread that money out an among its health centers to provide more diagnostic tests for low income women. right now a power outage affecting almost 2,000 in palo alto according to the city's utility website the power went out 9:30 this morning. crews are on the scene trying to determine what cause tad outage no word on when it will be restored. another story in palo alto right now, a police search for a sexual battery suspect.

here's a sketch just in. police say this man approached a woman from behind, touched her inappropriately and ran. it happened yesterday near downtown palo alto the victim told officers she was standing next to her car looking through her purse trying to find her keys when the man snuck up and grabbed her. >> san mateo police arrested a martial arts instructor on molestation charges two young students say the 36-year-old of redwood city fondled them at their academy in san mateo. the alleged incidents happened between 2010 and 2011. one of the girls has filed a civil suit against the studio asking for damages. he's free on bail now. the highway patrol says a 43-year-old man from petaluma died this morning in an early morning crash in novato the vehicle hit a power pole and caught fire about 3:35 this
