creek. amy hollyfield, abc7 news. 5:06. in a few hours attorneys from three law firms will an -- will announce they've filed a class action lawsuit against pg&e claiming the company misused funds. the lawyers say pg&e is more than pwhupb million dollars in customer fees to pay for executive bonuses, programs to improve public perception of the company and the state ballot initiative that benefited the utility. the suit claims pg&e could have prevented the san bruno pipeline explosion two years ago, if they had not delayed fixing the pipeline. the attorneys say they hope to prevent another incident like the san bruno disaster. 5:06. the san francisco couple accused of murdering their daughter's pimp back in court today. they face murder and other charges in the june 4th, shooting the victim was

fatally wounded in the bay view district. he had allegedly pimped out the couple's 17-year-old runaway daughter. in san jose, a man charged with the death of a 17-month-old child is expected to be arraigned tomorrow. the 38-year-old is in jail on half a million dollars bail. the boy died in april. police have not revealed the circumstances surrounding his murder. paramedics found the child unresponsive when they arrived at the home. he was the boyfriend of the toddler's babysitter. san francisco man waking up in jail this morning accused in the home invasion robbery and kidnapping of an elderly woman. arrested yesterday and booked on robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping and burglary. police say one of three men who rang the doorbell of the home then rushed in when the 79-year-old homeowner answered

the door. investigators say one man held her by the throat the others ransacked the home. two others are still on the loose. san jose police chief will have a public update tomorrow on his plans to stop the city's violent crime wave. the chief says the department will put more officers on the streets the aim to try to disrupt gang activity. there have been 32 murders in the city this year. the latest was tuesday night when a man was stabbed to death and found inside a safeway store. more officers will be assigned to patrol and overtime has been ok'd to beef up patrols around the clock. proposal to expand monterey bay national sanctuary will be the subject of a public hearing tonight. change could bring new rules affecting everything from fireworks near the bridge to a ban on personal watercraft such as jet skis. bring more protection for wildlife and more research
