expected to slam into the island of haiti. waves have been kicking up in florida. it's forecast to hit this weekend. spencer christian is tracking isaac for us now. sit expected to develop into a hurricane? >> it's expected to become a hurricane by monday. and let me give you a look at what is going on now. it's just about ready to slam into haiti at this moment. it's tropical storm with high sustained winds of 65 miles per hour moving swiftly northwest at about 16 miles per hour. now, as it stays on the projected path it's going to move over cuba, back into the, i should say into the waters of the gulf of mexico south of the southern tip of florida by sunday, into monday. by monday morning expect to it intensify to a hurricane just off the west coast of florida where tampa is located and preparations being made in florida and west coast for possible flooding and possible evacuations. it's expected to continue northwest as a category one
