a teenager accused of hitting and killing a father and taughter appeared in court this morning. the 17-year-old pleaded not guilty to two counts of vehicular manslaughter and other charges for the death of a 41-year-old and his 9-year-old daughter. his 12-year-old daugt dwrer was injured in that crash. and she survived. the victim's family was upset because prosecutor dz not charge rosen as an adult and prosecutors say the law did not call for charges to be elevated. >> vehicular man slaught jer not one of the crimes. so in that tense the d.a.couldn't directly final an adult felony. they can ask the court judge to do that. but the district attorney is refusing to do that in this case. >> and the attorney hike yil cardoza says the county will ask for civil damages. rosen will appear for a

possible plea deal. >> a suspect accused of stabbing a man found inside of a safeway appeared in koumplt he is accused of stabbing a 21-year-old tuesday night. investigators took the 27-year-old into custody in his home the next day. >> rescue workers responded to a call of what they thought is a fatal accident m a driveway in antioch today. they got there, they found a 90-year-old man pinned under the back tire of his truck. the man selectly -- slently left the vehicle in reverse but workers were able to revive him. he was air lifted to john muir hospital. the identity of the man and his condition have not been released but he was alive at last report. >> and nevada wildlife officials get rgd to release a mountain lion who tried to enter a casino. that is a big gamble, right? shortly after 5:00 this 75 pound male tried to go through the resolving door.
