the moon landing stirred the imagination of the country and arm strong's first words on the moon brought it closer to everyone. >> that's one small step for man. one giant leap for mankind. >> with those words, astronaut neil armstrong became the first person to step on the moon. he also became a symbol of mankind's desire to reach for the stars. rusty zweigert remembers his as one who didn't feel comfortable with the celebrity received. >> neil i think by nature was very reserved and modest guy. very self-efacing, bright. when you're in a class with him or learning something, neil was right there. he is very, very sharp guy. >> in 1969 armstrong and buzz aldrin spent nearly three hours walking on the moon, collecting samples, planting the american flag and conducting experiments.

just of his time but of all-time. live in alameda, abc-7 news. >> alan: fire crews expect to have a huge wildfire in shasta county contained by monday. more than 43 square mys have burn near redding. 64 homes and 20 other buildings have been destroyed. the pond rosa fire is now more than 74% contained. another major fire burning the the plumas national forest is 55% contained. >> ama: community groups held a resources fair for richmond residents affected by the chevron refinely fire. attorneys and medical professionals offered sessions. on monday a series of meetings will update residents. the meeting is 10:00 a.m. at the richmond city kohl chambers. >> alan: tonight we are getting our first look at the facebook men low park expansion designed by a world famous architect.

the front rest was not level. this this repaired chair but six months later the same problem reoccurred. >> you can see it's all the way to the right so it's unlevel. >> la-z-boy september another technician, tamara told him she feared the problems with the chair were signs of a bigger problem. >> we were worried we wouldn't be able to reclient in six months. >> another month went by and the store refused to replace the chair. "7 on your side" was able to elevate her complaint the corporate level and la-z-boy agreed to let her return the chair and get a sofa instead. la-z-boy said our comfort team was able to contact the local service team to get the issue resolved. we're delighted she is pleased. for this cancer survivor, the resolution is bittersweet. >> gone through a lot with that chair, i guess. so, it will be a little sad to
