now, this you tube video shows a fire burning in mendocino county, firefighters believe it will take a week to contain it. it grew by several hundred acres today, so far burning 4100 acres since a lightning strike sparked it. this is a fire 58% contained at this point. and firefighters are still trying to put out flames, others have been sent home being or transfered to other fires we've talked about here. >> there is positive news about that san jose firefighter who suffered a heart attack. dwrorktz report frank ryan started to move and is recove recovering in intensive care unit. many have been by his side as crews put out a fire and firefighters raised money so brothers and sisters could fly to be with him.

oorks on the bun dart -- dunbarton bridge, it will reopen sometime before midnight instead of 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. this is new video of crews finishing up repair work around the bridge. they spend the holiday weekend installing a joint allowing the span to be more flexible. and caltrans says crews will now spend next hours putting final touches on the concrete median barriers. >> so we're forming the field, pouring concrete. and leting that cure. >> officials will announce when the bridge will reopen but we're expecting it before midnight.

sunny skies everywhere. fog at the coast. and it's just a gorg yits, i shouldn't say otherwise, fog is gorgeous, too. there is an amazing marine layer just short of sliding through and moving over the bay. here is how it looks. this is our radar image. you can see there is a layer of low clouds and fog there. off or along the coastline. there are sunny skies inland areas and around the bay. we will have some of the marine layer pushing beyond coastline during overnight hours, there is a wide range of temperatures still warm inland east bay. there is 92 in fairfield. only 54 in half moon bay. nearly 40 degree range between current readings at the coast and inland. these are the highlights. fog will be present tonight after midnight and into early

morning hours. warm again, tomorrow, and partly cloudy skies by mid week, maybe moisture moving n and let's deal with what's happening tonight. first, fog pushing beyond the coast. low temperatures will be into low to mid-50s. and down to about 48 in santa rosa. 50s in half moon bay. in the atmosphere, water vapor shows a flow of dry air aloft showing up here but that is soon going to be replaced by subtropical moisture in the south. and some of the moisture from tropical storm john being kicked up into our area. it's going to flow up starting at 7:00 tonight and over next 24-48 hours moving into the bay area and could produce showers by wednesday, mainly south ofmont rai. but still interesting we might get that plume of moisture coming into the area. there are high temperatures tomorrow into a nice, warm summer-like range.
