they may know what happened to their young daughter who disappeared 24 years ago. the latest clue comes from a tiny fragment of bone. amy hollyfield live in hayward with reaction. >> reporter: the family is hopeful this is it. they say police have told them there aren't many girls this bone could belong to. hayward police are doing dna testing to see if it does belong to 9-year-old michaela garecht, abducted when she was 9-years-old outside a corner store in 1988 in hayward. police found the bone while digging in linden outside of stockton where the so-called speed freak killers buried their victims. michaela's mother says she has a feeling the don't does belong to michaela. >> if this is michaela and she has been lying in this god forsakeen place for the last 20 years i want her to be
