amy hollyfield is live at the park where crews have been working hard. >> reporter: the big question is the weather. earlier this morning isn't wasn't looking so good. you can see the sun is now out and the team is hoping that's a good sign. at&t park is getting a lot of attention today. crews covered the field last night to protect it from rain and spent the morning sweeping the rainwater off the tarp to ensure there will be a game 7 here tonight. >> we have a state-of-the-art drainage system. the weather looks better as it gets closer to game time. we will do everything in our power to get the game in today. >> reporter: executives say they realize what a big moment this is for the team. >> we are thrilled that we have a game 7. first game 7 in 50 years in san francisco. >> reporter: the home crowd will have plenty of drink options, beer distributors were unloading kegs in the rain and say playoffs have

lance armstrong's name is no longer in the history books for winning seven tour de france titles. today he was stripped of all

his titles. t.j. winick has more. >> reporter: cycling's governing body made it official lance armstrong will be stripped of his seven titles and banned from the sport for life. >> lance armstrong has no place in cycling so he deserves to be forgot >> reporter: this past weekend armstrong made two appearances at his foundation's 15th anniversary celebration. >> people ask me a lot, how are you doing? i tell them, i've been better. but i've always been worse. >> reporter: today's decision after the u.s. anti-doping agent accused him of leading the most sophisticated professionalized and successful doping program that the sport has seen. they are officially removing his name from the books,er racing his victories from 1999 to 2005. armstrong has consistently called it a witch-hunt. over the past week his endorse deals have dropped the disgraced cyclist and he's
