president obama continues the push if tougher gun laws. the president is meeting with police chiefs and sheriffs who saw the worst mass shootings in 2012. recently in newtown, connecticut, where 20 children and six adults were killed at sandy hook elementary school. the president says that he and the vice president are gathering with top law enforcement officials from major cities to hear their views and ideas on how to curb gun violence. >> president obama will travel to las vegas to unveil the plan for immigration reform. today, a bipartisan group of senators will lay out their version. the plan to be announced in half an hour including a path to citizenship if millions of illegal immigrants already in the country covering board security and guest workers. the new plan could face a big hurdle in the house which is dominated by conservative republicans who have shown little interest in easing immigration laws. >> now in san francisco, u.s. supreme court justice sotomayor is getting ready to address a big crowd.
