caused that pilot to pass out. and passengers on a jetblue flight had camera phones rolling when a blonde-haired woman was removed from the plane. she was arguing with a flight attendant over the seating of another passenger. when it got physical, the new york to san diego flight was diverted to denver and the woman was removed. the plane continued to southern california. also overnight, the death toll is rising following an explosion in mexico city. at least 25 people were killed and more than 100 hurt after a blast ripped through the headquarters of a state-run oil company. three stories of the building were affected. the blast occurred in the basement of the building. investigators are not sure what caused it. we're also tracking new developments in alabama, where the hostage standoff is entering its fourth day. the gunman and the 5-year-old boy he kidnapped remain in an underground bunker stocked with supplies. ne gauche yarts talking with

65-year-old suspect jimmy lee dykes through a ventilation pipe. they do not believe the boy, who is autistic, has been harmed. dykes allegedly grabbed the boy after shooting his school bus driver on tuesday. now the shuffle going on in president obama's cabinet. it usually happens at the start of a second term. today, the focus is on the foreign policy team. tahman bradley is watching the ever-changing lineup and joins us from washington with more. hi, tahman. >> reporter: hey, rob and sunny. a lot of action with president obama's cabinet. kerry is in at state, clinton is out. and chuck hagel, a republican, who you would think would be hailed as a bipartisan pick, is under fire. senator john kerry takes the oath of office today as secretary of state, replacing hillary clinton who heads off to retirement with a big question still lingering, will she run for president? >> i don't know how else to say

the young gunman fired several rounds before an armed security guard was able to take away the weapon. the two teens reportedly did know each other. the victim was released from the hospital last night. and shifting gears now. blinding snow is being blamed for a deadly pileup a highway in michigan. a mile-long stretch of crashes involved 30 trucks and cars. >> three people were killed, including two children believed to be siblings. at least a dozen others were hurt. witness say they were driving along i-75 when conditions went from clear to total whiteout in a matter of seconds. another chain reaction crash on a snowy highway near indianapolis. about a dozen cars and trucks crashed into each other. shutting down a section of i-70 for hours. one truck was carrying three elephants. they had to be offloaded from the trailer so the truck could get back on the road. that's not something we say a lot on the show. >> no.

192,000 jobs last month. analysts expect this report to show unemployment at 7.3% for the third straight month. older workers are not making way for younger ones. almost two-thirds of americans between 45 and 60 plan to delay retirement. it's a steep increase from just two years ago. the reasons, financial losses, layoffs, and income stagnation. you may have a tough time finding cold and flu medicine at the store. millions of bottles of theraflu and triaminic are being recalled because kids can open the child-resistant caps without disturbing the seals on the bottles. four children did just that and took the medications. one needed medical attention. and new concerns about kids and energy drinks. the nation's pediatricians
