power has gone out to some businesses here at hamilton marketplace, namely, two or three restaurants at the very end of the strip mall. the storm has also caused problems in the santa rosa area where crews are dealing with the downed tree. that downed tree blocking california story and gates road, with high winds not only taking down the street but cables phone lines and power lines came down with it, and it happened at at 1:15 this morning. fire crews are on the scene trying to politic it and move the tree out of roadway. it is not known how many could be without power. check this out, the drive across the golden gate bridge was very dicey, and treacherous this morning, this video was shot a short time ago when heavy storm cell was moving across the span with winds gusting over the spokesman, as well, and this was our drive through petaluma this morning, 101 north, rain hitting

the first came through last might and brought the heavy rain, while it still is moving away from us, it could spark off a shower or two and it is the secondary low that is rotating around the back side of the low counterclockwise and that comes in tomorrow and bringing us another dose of rain. watch as we head through the noon hour, a scattered shower is possible in our higher elevations and the north bay, even more so, and by action, we are starting to see a taper in the chances during the overnight hours most of us can see a flow setting from the southwest and that is a natural topography-induced flow that will bring you some light rain. the low starts to come in by noon tomorrow and notice how it spreads heavier showers around all our neighbors through the afternoon into the evening hours but by friday morning, it looks like we will start to dry out and the roads will be wet by friday evening. grab a coat. it will get chilly for friday into saturday morning. we will get another quarter to halfen a inch of rain in the

>> from san francisco bayview, police officers are in a tense stand off that started with a medical marijuana robbery. abc7 news reporter, aim -- amy hollyfield joins us live. >> officers arriving from the scene. some are wearing riot gear. they are adding resources to this issue. they already have a wide area in the bayview district blocked off with mobile command unit out here, several officers, some of them have their guns drawn. some of them are on rooftops look at the building and watching it and waiting. we are in the bay you have district at jennings street and wallace avenue, police say a group of people robbed a medical marijuana dispensary and they arrested two people they believe others have barricaded themselves in the building and will not come out. they have the whole area blocked

the sky above it right now. over the last three hours we have healthy rain moving through the south bay during the overnight hours and in the north bay and now we have lit shower still possible through 7:00 and very isolated shower possible today. temperatures around the bay are in the low-to-mid 50's as you head inland the best chance of showers through theness couple of hours is in the north bay and that will still be the best chance headed into the afternoon under clouds and the mid-50's. at the coast it is frozey which will taper in the afternoon, and clouds will be stubborn and temperatures are cooler in the low 50's. we are not finished with the storm yet and i will have a timetable on the next round of showers in a few minutes. suest. >> we have high wind advisory still from a major bridge around the bay area. a new problem to report, on the peninsula, this is actually the on-ramp to northbound 280, partly blocked with new accident

there. there is 580 from the central valley, a grind to dublin/pleasanton and highway four is slow into concord and highway 80 all the way to the macarthur maze is running 25 minutes and now a look at the 80 commute, bumper to bumper at the 580 merge, as you move through berkeley to the macarthur maze, it is a lot of company out there in other cars but you are moving. >> back to the north bay for the storm coverage, cornell bernard is live in novato with the conditions. cornell, it is windy, right? >> exactly. we have been out and about all morning long and we have seen a lot of rain move through the north bay but the big story right now as you said, seems to be the wind. it is causing some power outages including here in novato where the power want out to parts of the shopping center, parts of the hamilton marketplace lost their power this morning and several restaurants were impacted.

good morning, a record high. who would think during the financial crisis we would claw back from 6,000 something level from march of 2009 and get above the previous high a few years later. we have seen improved profits and that is partly behind it but something that is really behind it is the massive stimulus that we have from the federal reserve the pat few years with investors i spoke to not all that impressed with yesterday's record. they say, actually, when you adjust for inflation the dow is actually higher in 2007 than it is today. we need to rise another 10 percent to really it all-time high in real terms. better for the 401(k) to be at this level than march of 2009. here is how we look this morning. we are building on the record that we saw yesterday, the dow at 14,303 and the s&p 500 and nasdaq are higher and the

bay which are very, very light and they will keep the roads wet. check out the tower at telegraph hill that is a beautiful sky with temperature at 48 in oakland and pleasanton and palo alto and mill valley and slow and san francisco, and 50, and we can see the sun rising down in san jose as we look at 280 and the sun is so strong we can now seat 17 but it is right now. now, the other temperatures 46 in santa rosa and napa and look at fairfield and livermore and fremont, at 48, and gilroy is warm other at 49. today, it will be partly sunny with scattered light showers and cooler conditions. we have seen the heaviest of the rain from this first wave and it moved through overnight and heavy showers with a second wave tomorrow and that is the cold are one with the snow level dipping to around 3,000 feet and spring comes back this weekend and into early next week. here is the first slow that moved through. the second low that is rotating around the pair of lows is coming in tomorrow.

so well talk about lou this unfolds. at 7:00, we have a drying trend toward noon with isolated showers and that will hold true in the afternoon. we will get breaks in the cloud cover and see sunshine and that is what will irritate the atmosphere enough to create an us lated shower and not until the low starts to dry near tomorrow morning we could see light rain in the morning. by noon, it is still over the higher elevations closest to the ocean but headed in afternoon, you can see it moving across the neighborhood and the low rotates down to the south by friday morning. we will wake up to some wet streets, residual moisture but by friday afternoon, clearing takes place and the rain is over. we get another quarter to three quarters of an inch in the lower elevations and north bay and santa cruz mountains generous at 1" to 2". the second punch is more dry than the first punch that comes through. so, for tomorrow, you can see how cool it will be, lower to

>> we continue to follow breaking news from san francisco, bayview district right now where police are on the scene of a tense stand off. >> our reporter is live there with the latest. amy? >> three people have come out of the building with their hands up, and they were handcuffed and put in a car. however, police didn't move in on them as you would think they would of a dangerous suspect. it appears they have gotten people out of the building who were not part of this, who were innocent victims. they are still on high alert. look behind me, still a huge police presence here as if the bad guys are still in the building. i can only report to you what i can see at this point because police have not briefed us. they are planning and saying
