santa cruz where a viewing is being held. >> there has been a steady stream of people coming here to the memorial since the doors open td to the public at 3:00 this afternoon. each of the individuals coming here to pay respects to two officers killed as you said nrk the line of duty. now, by special arrangement we're aloud inside to see the flag-draped off coffins. the public will be able to file past caskets, pray if they wish and mingle with others who knew them. there are two large photographs of sargeant bake skbrer detective but lear long with a memory book. many in the community said they weren't able to go to the large service planned for tomorrow at noon time so this viewing is a private way to pay their reexpects awe lous people to come after work. >> i figured i'd say prayers.

62-year-old leslie allen gardener. charges stemming from the theft and damage from the 82 foot yacht. the boat wounld up on the beach in pacifica after gardener misjudged the surf line, daro mismt ra told us gardener's plan to sail to santa cruz. >> he says he's going pick up a boat. a friend's boat is going to bring it back to santa cruz. i said, hey, can i come to? >> he says the police reports they broke into the yacht just aren't true. >> no. no. there is a key. called for a key. he called someone for a key. >> someone came and brought him the key. they said it's in the top 10.

a lion had to be put down after it tacked and killed a woman in fresno county today. happened just afternoon at the cat haven sanctuary in dunlap. investigators say a 26-year-old volunteer was inside of the cage when the lion attacked. deputy arrived to find her still alive. they shot and killed the lion, however, the woman died soon after. it's not yet clear what may have provoked the attack. >> the lion was shot and killed. our thoughts and prayer goes out to the firefighters and family and her family at this trying time. >> officials say cat haifen has a good safety record. the lion as you can see was a
