firefighters were hurt

while battling a five alarm fire inside of a building over the weekend. take a look at this video capturing the moment when a back draft caused an explosion that shattered a window sunday morning. the blast threw firefighters from the burning two-story building from out of the building. one firefighter suffered cuts when struck by shards of glass. the injuries are not considered to be life threatening. the fire burned for several hours before being brought under control. >> wow. well, a real life treasure hunt in new mexico nearly turned deadly over the weekend. shannon thompson, on the right was hot on the trail of a million dollar buried fort yooun but the 33-year-old lost her way, hiking along in santa fe national forest on thursday. she spent two nights in below freezing temperatures. rescuers found her, finally found her after a massive search. she was lucky. thompson looking for a buried

you. >> thank you. >> a 12-year-old you new zealand boy pulled from the surf by rescuer who's formed a human chain to pull him from the water. a beach goer used a cell phone to capture this drama. you can see people running to help josh mccoy. the current pulled him 500 feet down the shore. he was fighting for air eight minutes. >> i was in there i thought i was going to die. the waves smashed me so much. five really big ones flipped me around. i think i was underwater almost about 20 seconds. >> a police officer ran to the rescue but he was getting pulled under by the current. another officer started yelling for help. he urged people on the beach to form a human chain. you can see them gripping hands. they were able to hold on. it worked. they were able to pull josh to safety.
