7 news was almost hit by some debris. part of the cliff gave way during the morning news. the big rocks closed on a highway for a few hours but not before other drivers ran into them. >> my tires are strong but one was substantial. >> the hillside is in the state jurisdiction. >> looking for road closures again. northbound interstate 880 will be closed from 1:00 until 6:00. drivers will follow a detour that will get them back on the freeway. the closure is part of construction for a bridge that will link bart and the oakland airport. this is time lapse video from bart the work on the bridge last weekend. the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. the airport connector will be open for service in late 2014.

marrow transplant. the donor happens to be his brother in vietnam who he has never met. >> the 5-year-old was adopted from vietnam. his brother traveled from vietnam because collin needs a transplants. his brother just landed a plane and is about to clear customs in the meantime, this is their story. a year and a half ago the 5-year-old was diagnosed with plafltic aneema. his parents reached out to collin's brother, a 27-year-old who lives in vietnam. >> just hoping he's going to do it. he said yes with no problem so we're relieved but wasn't sure if he'd be afraid or have no interest. or, you just don't know. >> collin was adopted by

good evening on this friday night. diane is on assignment. and we do begin here with the fast-moving story from the heart land. one that's been simmering all week long here. tonight, a major new development. we told you about that colorado lawman, the husband shot in cold blood on his front porch as he answered his doorbell. then, last night here, the shootout in texas. authorities believe they had their suspect, they shoot and kill him. tonight, they want to know if he was behind yet another notorious killing in broad daylight. one just a few weeks back and never solved. abc's senior justice correspondent pierre thomas on this fast-growing case again tonight. >> reporter: tonight, there's intense focus on this young man as a possible suspect in the execution-style murder of colorado's corrections chief, tom clements. and we now learned police are investigating whether he could be tied to the high profile murder of another law enforcement official. police identified 28-year-old
