family did not want to speak to us, but we'll hear from other family coming up at 11:00. >> new details bat deadly accident that killed a man in pinole. the man is 46-year-old todd sure of hayward, his car collided with a car just after 9:00 in the morning. you can see the tremendous impact of the crash. investigators say for some reason he drove his vehicle across the double yell low lines directly into the path of the suv. the other driver and passengers in the suv suffered minor injuries. >> a north bay teenager was remembered today a week after a trainingic -- tragic racing crash involving his cousin claimed his life. here's a look at how 14-year-old marcus johnson is being remembered. reporter: the memorial is over

but there's a few dozen people visiting with the johnson family. he may only have been 14 years old but marcus johnson described as the energizer bunny. touched more lives than people twice his age. more than 1200 people packed the church for the memorial to marcus johnsonment room for attendees had to be made in other areas to handle the crowd. easels showed photos from his toddler years to his prowess on the basketball court and a racer. photos with his mother, father, and younger braid, indicated the closeness of the family. marcus' mother was touched by the outpouring of support, and heartbroken at not being able to be with her son. >> i'm overwhelmed by the number of people that are here. he would be overwhelmed. i think he'd say, wow, cool. but i wish they al we in an

arena somewhere watching me play basketball. forever we'll feel the warm of your smile, the magic in your eyes and the gentleness of your soul. reporter: marcus was killed when his cousin lost control of his sprint car while doing laps at the marysville raceway park. he veered off the track, killing marcus and a 68-year-old man. teachers and coaches all praised marcus. in a touching moment a young friend broke down in tears while singing a song dedicated to him. now, memorial fund has been started for marcus johnson. portions of the fund will go to help low income students pay for school or athletic equipment. we're live in santa rosa, abc7 news. >> ama: a neighbor has helped police arrest 11 peeled accuse

says the city reached a plame agreement for a new downtown arena with an investment group that hopes to keep the team from moving to seattle. johnson tweeted the group includes a silicon tycoon, 24 hour getness founder, and a billionaire. >> federal court proceedings begin tomorrow that could end with stockton entering bankruptcy. eight years ago it was all good times for stockton, a new waterfront, a new hockey arena, and taxpayer financed baseball park. higher salaries and benefits based on anticipated increasing property tax revenue. then the recession hit. stockton soon was $1 billion in debt. monday, stockton may become the most populace city in the country to enter chapter 9. besides gay marriage the supreme court will also hear arguments tomorrow on a case involving billions of couldn't summer dollars.
