detectives are investigating a police officer's shooting a suspect, the third type it has happened in that city this month our abc7 news reporter katie marzullo is near where the suspect was wounded. >> this scene was only just cleared overnight and it will be a long and thorough investigation because, as you mentioned, it is the third officer-involved shooting in san jose just this month. take a look at this video over the scene about 4:30 yesterday afternoon. you can see a red car in the driveway. that is the car in question. it is reportedly a stolen car. when police came upon it yesterday afternoon they saw a woman was driving. there was also someone in the passenger seat. when police got this, the woman started moving that car and actually hit one of the officers >> the officer was in fear for safety and discharged his firearm striking the driver at least once. the passenger did sustain an injury, unknown whether or not that is as a result of the

california city council man think each e-mail message should be taxed probably raising billions a year which he would like to use to save his local post office. your e-mail could be read outloud by the sprint information system which reads text and suggests places for you to stop along the way. what smartphone you use could say a lot about it. iphone users are younger, more active on social networks and listen to the radio more on their phones and droid owners are older, more likely to play game and read news and sport sites.

conscious and aware. a presidential spokesman says given his age and history, doctors are acting with caution. the antiapartheid icon has been if and out of the hospital since december for the same lung infection. mandela spent 27 years in prison before becoming south africa's first democratically elected president. he won the nobel peace prize in 1993. amen low park-based facebook has received we permission to build a second campus close to headquarters. the 22 acre west campus site is located on constitution drive on the other side of bayfront expressway from the social media headquarters. the 433,000 square foot building will be designed by a renown architect with a roof park with a tunnel connecting the two campuses. >> google glasses could bring new manufacturing jobs to the

silicon valley which is assembled in santa clara at factory run by a taiwan-based company known for making iphones and ipads in china. this is a major boost for u.s. electronics manufacturing. in recent years tech companies have assembled products in asia. this week google started notifying winners of the contest to test out the glasses. they will pay $1,500 if they want to test drive the high-tech spectacles. >> major league baseball runs tonight with the first game of the bay bridge series between the a's and giants at at&t park. the a's beat the giants in saturday in arizona. the defending world series champions will host the a's in san francisco tonight and tomorrow night. the series will then switch to the oakland colisieum on saturday afternoon. giants start the season on monday taking on the dodgers in los angeles. the a's will be at home hosting seattle on monday night. >> fans can delight in some new

saturday and easter sunday, as well. we are in this moist southwest flow with a couple of systems offshore and with it, it is sending in the clouds and maybe rain and sprinkles or light showers from time to time. the clouds should thin out in the late afternoon, as well, and as a result, temperatures will be on the mild side. for the rest of the morning we have the cloudy skies, and perhaps a shower here or there, going through the rest of the morning, you will notice that mostly cloudy, partly sunny throughout the afternoon, and east bay hills could be looking at a shower an the south bay, and up into the hills of the north bay, as well, and then by tomorrow, we are looking at the weak ridge building and that should give us the sunniest and mile of the day. for the temperatures today, mid-60's in oakland, 70's in san jose, and morgan hill and 65 in santa rosa, and headed to the game tonight, you will expense a pretty good condition but do not worry about rain, upper 50's, and by the time it winds down look for the clouds and mid-50's
