>> leyla gulen, thank you. the man accused of a rampage at a bay area walmart is accused of being on drug when he drove the car through the front of the store injuring four people. abc7 news reporter joins us live from san jose. >> good morning, eric. the arraignment for this man will happen later today in santa clara county courtroom. inside the court, the 33 -year-old hamid zaid face as long list of charges. police say zaid was high on drugs easter sunday when he crashed the red oldsmobile into a san jose walmart store front and customers say it did not end this but three got out and starting hitting people including a cashier with a blunt object. the 33-year-old zaid is from seaside near monterey and is an auto mechanic and never been in trouble before according to his mother. he faces a number of charges

including hit-and-run charges and suspected assault with a deadly weapon. police still have no motive or answers why this happened. officers say up until this point, getting any information out of zaid has not been easy. >> he is not talking. he has been uncoughive and -- uncooperative so until we can talk and he is will to talk about his state of mind we will not know that information until later. >> this is cell phone video of walmart customers that jumped in to help. they jumped on top of zaid that day holding him down on the ground until police could arrive. officers say their acts bravery is what kept zaid from hurting anyone else that day. again, later this morning, later today, hamid zaid will be arraigned in a santa clara county courtroom and we will keep you posted with any details .

>> thank you for that. happening right now at sfo, major delays for travelers on a china airlines flight this morning headed for taipei because of damage to the aircraft. no word on the problem but according to a sfo duty manager flight 3 was unable to take off. it was scheduled to lobby at 1:35. passengers were given the option to deplane while they fixed the problem. the china airlines flight is scheduled to debart in the next few minutes -- and a cab driver is being investigated for possible d.w.i. after running the vehicle off the road on southbound highway 101 near millbrae after at 1:30. the seen has been cleared. the cab cut across all lanes of traffic before going down a ditch on the other side of the road. authorities checked the driver out at the seen before taking

him into custody. >> happening now, today is the first anniversary of the shooting massacre in oakland when seven people were killed. juan go was angry with school officials and planned the shooting. a judge ruled in january he is not competent to stand trial. there will be two memorial concerts for the victims, one on saturday in oakland and the other takes place in eldorado hills on april 13th. >> a former contra costa county narcotics store will be sentenced on drug chances today. he pleaded guilty to five felony counts in story admitting stealing drugs from an evidence locker and re-selling them on the street. he took cash and cell phones from prostitutes. he faces a possible ten year prison sentence under a plea deal with the prosecutors. >> this remain organization security at san francisco city hall is under review after someone snuck in and vandalized the second floor. deputies arrested the suspect

after discovering the damage to a wall inside city hall. investigators say the scrawlings is a phone number, a social security number and messages about god. workers were able to clean most of it off. the 32-year-old faces felony burglary and vandalism and misdemeanor trespassing. >> this building has a history of violence and we want to make sure whoever did this is brought do justice quickly. >> supervisor is referring to the 1978 tragedy when former supervisor dan white broke into city hall and assassinated mayor mascone and supervisor harvey milk. >> if san francisco, the city's entertainment commission meets to consider ways to cut down on noise from concerts associated with this summer's america's cup. big name acts like sting and train have been booked but people intel grandfather hill -- in telegraph hill are concern over the noise so the number of
