the bus has been impounded as evidence. >> this is the second tour bus crash this week. on thursday, bus crashed in texas killing two passengers and injuring 42 others. the bus was headed to a casino when the driver lost control and the bus overturned. four crew members from a sunken tug boat off the coast near big sur are safe after a dramatic rescue. they survived in a life raft of the tug went down while towing a bargeend. this is video of the coast guard rescue. none of the crew members war injured. a marine recovery team pulled the tug boat back to shore. a young baseball player is still hospitalized one day after getting hit in the chest by a pitch and going into cardiac arrest. we're live at children's hospital with a look at what happened. reporter: the good news for now is that he is under observation

here at, which i hospital -- children's hospital oakland. he is likely to stay here at least another day or so after his heart stopped beating when he was struck by a baseball. pitchers were flying at 30 to 50-miles-an-hour at this rohnert park baseball game where parents talked about the eight-year-old boy who was struck in the heart by a pitched ball on saturday. he then collapsed on his way to first base. >> his mom, she was crying, getting all scared because he wasn't breathing, and all the parents were crying. >> the 14-year-old umpired the game and says two off-duty paramedics emerged from the stands to start cpr. >> the rohnert park public safety showed up with an automatic external detranscribe brill defibrillator. they hooked up the child and defib brill lated his heart. >> the boy went to the hospital and then to children's hospital

>> ama: the new exploratorium on the embarcadero opens to the public on wednesday and it's chock-full of gadgets. abc7 news is a partner of the new exploratorium it's three times its previous home. there are exhibits to enjoy and old classics. >> an opportunity to try things on a larger scale. >> you were cramped in the old mace? >> we outgrew it about ten years ago. >> science is everywhere. in our mind, in our own backyard. >> the move cost $300 million. but city officials say it is worth it to bring such a jewel to the public. >> coming up at 6:30, we have "more to explore," the making of the exploratorium. dan asher will be hosting the half hour special.

a volcano is spewing ash into the sky over central mexico. mexico's -- okay. i have been practicing this -- the volcano -- is getting active again and it is making nearby residents very nervous. the volcano is in the state of puebla, which is east of mexico city. >> a startling new discovery. sea ice in the arctic is disappearing faster than scientists predicted and could be gone by mid-century. it could be gone as early as 2020. ice loss leads to changes in ecoshims and economy and could affect weather. >> signs of spring in san francisco this weekend. the annual cherry blossom festival underway in japantown, hundreds of thousands of visitors are getting a taste of japanese culture. events including food booths, movies, and a parade.

bay area we have had windy conditions throughout the afternoon. so it looks nice but if you spend any time outdoors, winds from 20 to 30-miles-an-hour around the bay, and along the coast gustier, and airport deplays two hours and 18 minutes. so that's tonight and will likely continue tomorrow when the winds ramp up. so with the wind advisory we have a chance of showers tonight, into monday morning, and then sunny and warmer. we're talkingle 80s by the end of the work week. so should be pretty nice. in fact tonight with the cloud cover, you'd think we would be warmer but we're still pretty chilly out there. the possibility of a few light showers, mainly after 10:00, up per 40s fremont to san jose. hoarse the setup. area of low pressure associated cold front diving down from the north, and with it the cool air, the dusty winds, -- gusty winds

and a blusterery day tomorrow. so in the evening, 9:00, marin and sonoma could see a few light showers. after 10:00 and through the overnight hours, spotty light rain showers, very windy conditions, and we could possibly see some power outages at some of the trees with the shallow roots could be uplifted with the winds, lasting through tomorrow night. by 11:00 tomorrow, 37-miles-an-hour wind busts. half moon bay, up to 40, and 25-miles-an-hour wind gusts in the livermore valley, through the evening hour. so definitely brisk out there tomorrow. temperatures much cooler, only mid-to-upper 50s. at the coast with 61 in oakland. livermore. 63 in antioch, tomorrow night it's going to be chilly in oakland. but the game is later in the week, those are the tincts to have if -- the tickets to have
