inland we will be around 83 to 92. we have quite a string of 90-degree highs. it is the end of april, early may but it will be warm. be prepared. temperatures will run nearly 20 degrees above average. hail law? >> as we look at the maze westbound along 80 to 580 it is clear and quiet but we have a buildup of traffic to the bay bridge. the toll plaza is quiet, and you can see a few scant cars in the westbound direction so not too bad. headed over to the map i will tell you about a report of a crash on westbound 84 it could block a lane but it could have been pushed to the shoulder already. top speeds along westbound highway four. >> developing news where investigators are hoping to zero in on whoever brutally killed an

8-year-old girl 30 miles east of stock stop. the girl was found stabbed to death inside her home on saturday which prompted a lockdown of the town as authorities launched a manhunt for the killer. investigators served a search warrant at her home and they collected fingerprints and d.n.a. spread -- evidence at the scene. an autopsy is scheduled today. schools are open today. a memorial is set up in honor of her outside the school. >> stay with abc7 news for continuing coverage of the search for the killer with another update and to valley springs for a report and updates at abc7news.com. >> retired coast guard members in petaluma mount up for 4,000 mile trip to raise money and awareness for the wounded warrior project but the

transport means it will be long and slow journey. >> good morning to you. it will be a long, slow month long journey that starts at 8:00. the off duty coast guard members hot into a golf cart and ride across the country. look at map we have of their journey crossing 13 states and go 4,000 miles from petaluma all the way to virginia and they will go slowly, 25 miles per hour. we have the video of the golf carton a test drive and it is donated and it will take the active due and retired members of the coast guard chief petty officers association on the journey. they are donating their time during their journey and will stop at veterans of foreign war posts and disabled veterans chapter and veterans hospital but they need their hope. their goal is to raise $50,000
