scratcher how the van got wedged in there. we are at the intersection here at twin peaks and anyone familiar with the area knows twin peaks is a very deep windy road full of hair-pin roads and this van ended up wedged into the side of a house, the garage. the police tell us that the driver, there is a language barrier, but she said she was having trouble with the brakes, pressing on the brakes and the passengers tried to get her to shift, use the gears to slow down and police believe instead, perhaps, she pressed on the gas and somehow ended up in the side of this house. there were residents at home but no one inside was hurt and no one in the van was hurt, either the driver, though, was taken to the hospital just in case.
11:20 am
