hospital has been evacuated and two major freeways, the 2, and 134 both closed because of heavy smoke from flames. >> a lot of fires to tell you bchl the largest, most-devastating fire bushing in california has been springs fire in ventura county. it's burned 10,000 acres so far and still growing because of the winds. the fire still only 10% contained. 15 homes in the community of ramma rio have been damaged by flames along with five businesses and some outbuildings. >> the fire was close to us. it got dark out, so we just left. >> and north another massive fire burning out of control break out in dry timber northeast of the community of butte meadow. no structures are threatened

here. >> cal fire says they've been making good progress fighting the summit fire. firefighters have managed to keep the blaze at 3,000 acres. the fire destroyed a structure, cal fire lifted evacuation orders but are warning rez don'ts keep on eye on hot spots in this area. >> firefighters are headed to ventura county to help with containment efforts, other firefighters have also headed south. >> now, coming up at 5:00 we'll go live to camma rio to see how crews are doing there. >> and crews are wrapping up after a putting out a fire near hollister today. the view from sky 7 shows some
