california in los angeles county. a brush fire in the hills above glendale. no structures were destroyed. smoke forced a closure two of busy freeways. and coming up at 5:05 an update on the spring fire still raging out of control. >> happening now south san francisco some residents are being aloud back into their homes after a bomb square. one apartment building evacuated after a resident claimed he had an explosive device. investigators trying to contact the 38-year-old they took him into custody they claimed he had explosives so police determine there'd was no bomb. >> a warning going out tonight about typhoid fever.

nordstrom says it's offering free testing in a couple clinics. this student says she was a customer. >> i'm doing fine. no idea that that happened. that is weird. >> the health department is giving nordstrom high marks for cooperation trying to find customers that have eaten in the cafe. in contrast to the marketing manager of the ball scared reporters would scare away business. there are clinics set up for people who ate at the cafe and may not be feeling well you can be tested at the treatment
