pleasanton and dublin. as we head over to the drive it is solid red. we do have another alternate from the central valley use the 580 westbound direction to connect to 238. that takes you down to 880. you just want to avoid this with a sig-alert in affect until further notice. mike nicco? >> good news great my side, live doppler 7 hd, dry this morning. no wet weather. it is a possibility as we head into the afternoon of a stray shower possible. easy commute weather-wise, gray and 61 around the bay and the day planner for noon is 66 with sunshine breaking through and showers will fade and it will be 64 by 7:00. inland neighborhoods are off to a gray start and 58. clouds build through noon and the best chance of a shower is in the afternoon as we touch 70 and well fade in the evening

like the sun with temperatures in the low to mid-60's. at the coast, drizzle is possible and mostly just clouds and 53 and mainly cloudy through the afternoon with temperatures in the mid-50's to near 60. our chances of rain are just about over after today. i will have the seven-day forecast with warmer weather in a minute. >> breaking news from the south bay where three robbery suspects are under arrest after a high-speed chase. san jose police say the chase ended with the suspect crashing their bmw through a fence in front of a home at silver creek road. two women and a man were taken into custody. one of the women or the woman is pregnant. police say she was not seriously hurt. according to police, the suspects are believed to is robbed a 7/11 store a few hours ago the. >> we figured out this was a suspect from a month ago, and we showed up in the same area where she dumped the previous stolen

vehicle. >> one was want the in connection with two other recent 7/11 robberies the. >> new accounts of the deadly limousine fire that killed five and injured four on the san mateo-hayward bridge. the limousine was carry nine passengers, one more then allowed under regulations the rear of the limousine say the ones was riding close to the ground. the survivors had to crawl through a partition dividing the driver's area from the passenger compartment. among the victims of this fire is the new bride, bride bride, and michelle estrera, both nurses at community hospital and also kill, a woman from san lorendo and jennifer ba lone we are getting conflicting accounts of what happened and abc7 news reporter amy hollyfield continues our coverage from the san mateo bridge with reaction

from the survivor and the driver of the limousine. >> one of the survivors is turning the attention to the limo driver and what he did on this bridge or what she says he didn't do. nelia rafael said the driver stood and watched as thine women tried to escaped the burning limousine. he said he would loved to have been more helpful but it happened so fast and he did everything he could the women were trying to escape through the privacy window between the front and back seats and the fire was in the back of the car so the way out was up front. >> i said "help me, help me." trying to get out from the compartment and i squeezed over to slide myself through. we said "on the door, on the door, on the door."

open it. >> i don't know what could have been done differently. >> four women got out alive and a couple of good samaritans helped to pull them to safety. the five were trapped inside and died. a new witness has come forward with information about the limousine saying she saw it before it caught on fire and it was unusually low to the ground just dragging almost an inch off the ground. she has told c.h.p. investigators about this information and the c.h.p. says the investigation is ongoing. we hearing more from the husband of one of the victims of saturday's limo fire, jennifer balon's husband said she was sitting in the back of the limo when it became engulfed and he got the initial phone call that something happened he knew it could not have been good but never imagined she was dead.

how have they remain undetected it cleveland for this period of time? today, we have three suspects in custody. over the years, the cleveland police have worked closely with the northern ohio --. >> this is the news conference and that is cleveland mayor frank jackson talking about how many questions are unanswered they will have to investigate in the days to come. for now, we have learned the three women have been released from the hospital and cleveland police have identified two of the women as amanda berry and gina dejesus. the third woman is identified as michelle knight and it is believed they were all held captive in the same house. amanda developed in 2003 the day before her 17th birthday. and dejesus was missing a year later at age 14. knight disappeared in 2002 when 21. three brothers if their 50's are now in custody.

we will continue to machine -- monitor this news conference in cleveland so stay with abc7 news and we bring you an update later in the newscast. >> in the bay area, today the richmond city council and the contra costa county board of supervisors will look at plans of extending bart service. contra costa county board will consider supporting a study to look at extending service in the western part of the county and richmond will look at extending bart service. some in richmond say an extension should only happen from the richmond station. one part director wants a bart extension in contra costa county to go north along interstate 80. >> for folks coming from sunol that would be good because there is a big sig-alert for miles today. >> 680, we talking. leyla gulen?

>> exactly, we have been following this since it happened at 4:30 this morning with sky 7 h.d. over the terrible crash that is causing complete gridlock through the sunol grade. look at the 680 southbound side coming up on vargas road. as you pan down you can see how traffic is down to one or two lanes and this is an area of the sheriff department right here. unfortunately, it is a fatality. the sig-alert is in affect until further notice and no telling wren this will cheer up but you are looking at at least four miles of backup coming up on 84. if you live if the area 84 is the best way to get around this, and to mission boulevard that reconnects you to 680 but look at this, you do not want to sit if this horrible traffic. you can see how it is impacting the area headed along southbound 680, we down to five miles per hour and seven miles per hour south of highway 84 but check out highway 84 itself as you make the drive from livermore to

pleasanton, 23 miles per hour gets you there and 580 is jamming up and this is slowing but we are particularly slow coming up on highway 4 so continue westbound direction connecting you to 238 in the east bay and to 880 to get down to fremont. over to mike nicco with a look at the forecast. >> good morning, everyone, good news from this perspective: no rain. all rain is off to the east the last three hours is where it is staying. we are off to a gray start with temperatures in san francisco in 50's. and christie field is 57 and mission district and glen park and downtown and headed through the ferry building at 58 degrees. same if richmond, 59 in san leandro, anddown city, and 58 in pittsburg and 57 in walnut creek and 55 in pleasanton and palo alto and petaluma at 54 degrees. in the afternoon hours, we will see a few pockets of sunshine and a few showers develop and it

everyone. we will start with live doppler 7 hd and you will be happy to see this after what you saw from leyla gulen, it is dry this morning. the weather is not affecting your way around. here is the area of low pressure, spinning off the coast but today it has a little motivation with it headed to our south. that is why we will still have a slight chance of a shower but not so much as yesterday. from sutro tower to san francisco, we will have sunny pockets here and across the entire bay area and isolateed shower possible. warmer-than-average weather this weekend but nothing too oppress i. upper 60's in the south bay at santa clara and 70 in redwood city and drop to mid-60's by millbrae. low-to-mid 60's along the coast today with mid-60's in downtown and south san francisco. to sausalito, 66 but most of the north bay valley is up to 70's in novato and napa and low 60's at your beaches and near 70

along the east bay shore with castro valley and fremont the warmest at 70 and low-to-mid 70's in the east bay valley and the area that is off to this area, less than .1" rain in danville. the game tonight, same as year, with clouds and 61 at first pitch at 7 and tonight the temperatures are cooler this morning, and the cloud cover will not be so extensive so upper 40's in the north bay and along the coast and low-to-mid 50's for the rest of us. as far as the rain and the snow, the bulk is falling in the sierra with a few pockets of showers. by 5:00, it will be starting to fade away. the seven-day outlook shows wednesday and thursday, with the dry air, temperatures are staying about the same and the air will modify on friday and look at the weekend, 60's at the coast and my 70's away the bay and low-to-mid 80's inland.

>> the f.b.i. says it plans to bring in dog teams today to aid in the investigation into the fatal stabbing of an 8-year-old girl in calaveras county. dive teams continue to search two reservoirs near the home of leila fowler. so far, a murder weapon has not opinion found but authorities say test results on existing evidence have brought them a step closer to catching her killer. the girl was found stabbed to death in her valley springs home on saturday with no sketch yet of the suspect. >> we are following developing news from cleveland. three women were found a decade after disappearing and the new information just unveiled by authorities in the last 45 minutes. >> the warriors lose 30 in a row in san antonio. the reason this hurt so much. >> we are continuing to follow the breaking traffic news with a deadly crash in 680 on sunol and how it is affecting traffic with alternate routes coming up

reserved just for the folks who are car pooling or who are paying tolls. it looks like traffic should be back to normal. this is going to take a very long time to see this gridlock dissipate. we will have more details on how to get around this mess in a little bit but now, eric and kristen have more news. >> a news conference just wrapped up in cleveland into a stunning case of three women held captive for years. we got word on the men arrested and the little girl discovered with the women. abc7 news reporter katie marzullo is will forking it from the newsroom. >> in the news conference, kristen, the authorities have identified the three suspects, and they say they do believe the six-year-old girl found at the house is the daughter of amanda berry and the last hour all three women were released from the hospital. we will look at pictures of the women, michelle knight disappeared in 2002 when she was

19 we do not have her picture. gina dejesus was 14 in 2004 and amanda berry disappeared in 2003 the day's her 17th birthday. the suspects are three brothers and are in jail and waiting to be charged. >> three men have been arrested in the case. they are ariel castro, 52 years old. a brother, pedro, 54 years old, and another brother, o'neal, 50 years old. >> you have many questions, so do we. until we have the answers to the questions, based on facts and evidence, we will not be able to speculate as to the house and why. >> this is a photo of berry and her sister in the hospital posted on facebook. in a sad twist berry's mom died in 2626 of heart failure and is not here for the amazing

reunion. berry is the reason she is free. neighbors heard her pound on the door and begging for help and a maybe got her and called 9-1-1, the officers got into the house and i.d. all women in minutes from the 9-1-1 call. authorities are going over records if authorities have ever been called to the house and one thing jumps out, in january of 2004 as a result of an investigation by children and family services, police did go to the house, knocked but no one answered and that call is related to the job as a bus driver, the middle brother, that maybe he left a child on his school bus and left the buffers at the depot and the family and children services looked at him for that but no record related to the missing women. >> it is 6:47. we will shift gears, google could be driving business

>> at 6:49 we have an update with all lanes cleared. we are looking at backup the sig-alert has caused, sky 7 is over 680 southbound at 84, you can see how the merging southbound traffic is at a standstill right now and we have miles and miles of backup. as we pan, this is looking in the southbound direction, all the cars are trying to make it down the sunol grade and to vargas road and that was the location of the sig-alert but all lanes have re-opened and this is going to take time to recover. if you headed out of the central valley through livermore, take westbound 580 and that connects you to 238 which gets you to 880 and 880 gets you to fremont if that is the direction you need to go. now all freeways are loading up because of the sig-alert but it is in the canceling stages and all lanes have re-opened and southbound 680 at vargas road. mike nicco has the weather. >> thank you, leyla gulen, we
