>> arrested leilasleilas brother on the charge of homicide. >> ama: a shocking arrest. a 12-year-old boy accused of killing his own sister. for more than 15 days police searched for her killer. now her own brother is behind bars. john alston has been following the story and has the latest developments. >> at first authorities were looking for the killer riff the long bray hair. a neighbor also claimed there was a man running from the girl's home.

stabbed to death inside the family home two weeks ago. her 12-year-old brother told investigators he encountered a tall man with long gray hear who ran off. authorities say they found dna at the scene and collected household knives and searched a nearby pond for evidence. the entire community was in a state of fair as authorities conducted a door to do hunt. a neighbor who claimed to have seen a man run from the house, later recanted the story. >> after 2,000 hours of this investigation to provide leila fewly's family with answers in her death. >> the sheriff did not address some obvious questions, such as a motive or whether the weapon has been found. he says the investigation is not over yet. >> ama: the brother cannot be charged as an adult because he is under 14 years old.

>> sebastian current should be pitching against the giants. instead, he is practicing with his eight-year-old brother. it's because north vallejo little league canceled all of the saturday games. for the second time in three weeks gunshots have been fired near one of the league's games. this 12-year-old heard the gunshot that rang out near thurman field an thursday. police say someone from one car fired into another car. no one from the league was involved or hurt. >> if you have someone just being as callous as that and not think about the lives they're putting in danger, is inis insill. >> this isn't the first time young players have been near gunfire. on april 17th shots were fired after a tee ball game at john williams field. no one was hurt then, either, but the league briefly suspended the season. games resumed afe later.

concord police were doing surveillance at his home. officers tried to serve a search warrant. they say burns hopped into a vehicle driven by another man. it rammed another police officer. burns ran out and tried to run away and the officers opened fire. >> one go got arrested. tried to run out of the car and they shoot him. >> pow, pow, bang, bang, boom, boom, nonstop. and we didn't get up until they stopped. >> the other man in the vehicle was arrested. developing news. a lake county neighborhood is sinking into a hill port, this is in lake port, city on the west side of clear lake. homes that have been standing for 30 years are now falling apart. >> in this neighborhood in the northern california town of lakeport, the hillside underneath is collapsing, taking with it trees, streets and home. >> the whole subdivision. >> they were warned to empty the
