>> we do have new details tonight in the case of leila fowler, the small town where she grew up is dealing with both a sense of relief and sorrow. while the manhunt for the killer is over in the town of valley springs, the community is now trying to comprehend how a 12-year-old could be accused of murdering his own sister. to the -- tomas roman is live. the children's mother spoke about them both. reporter: yes, she did. we'll have more on that. it's taken 15 days and more than 2,000 hours of investigation for investigators to give eight-year-old leila fowler's mother even more tragic news, now accusing leila's 12-year-old brother of killing her and that news cast a pall over mother's day in this community. >> i can't even imagine what his mom is going through. or his stepmom.

a terrible tragedy. >> sandra huckabee is talking about the 12-year-old brother of leila fouler who was arrested for the stabbing death of his sister. we have blurred his face because he is a minor. leila fowler was found stabbed multipel times in the family home. a small memorial sits across the road with purple ribbons. the mother is trying to make sense of the tragedy. >> trying to understand this. still having a really hard time grasping. i can't accept -- this didn't happen. >> she is mother to leila and her brother. he told investigators a tall man ran out of the house before he toward his sister's body ask is now accused of murder. >> he always took care of his sister. i just don't know. >> mothers we spoke ton this mother's day can't imagine what rodriguez is going through. >> it's sad. me and my whole family.

police. >> police are talking about a shooting so involved in concord. 21-year-old chars burns was suspected of dealing drugs. officers tried to serve a search warrant when he got into a car driven by another man. it then amendment an unmanned police car. burns got out and tried to run two officers opened fire. police did not say whether burns was armed. a meeting is set for tuesday with the four teams in the america's cup to discuss the sailing accident that killed a sailor. teams from the u.s., italy, sweden, and new zealand, will be the san francisco this week. they will decide what steps, if any, to take in the wake of the catamaran accident in the bay on thursday that killed artimus sail andrew bart simpson. sailing experts are concerned a flaw in the carbon body of the racing sailboat may have caused it to fold. the investigation continues. developing news. 18 people went to the hop after someone opened fire during a

mother's day parade in new orleans. the gunfire erupted while 200 people were watching the parade through new orleans' seventh ward. the wounded included two children. four of the victims needed to have surgery to treat their wounds. most of the victims suffered graze wounds. police are looking for three people but no arrests have been made. this mother's day is the first sunday of freedom for the three cleveland women held prisoner for a decade. they're cautiously easing their way back into the world. tonight we have their first public words since their screen and dramatic cell phone video of the rescue. reporter: the moment of freedom is at hand. cleveland police charge the front door of 2207 seymour avenue and bust it open. on the other side, gina dejesus and michelle knight, about to breathe the air of freedom for the first time then ten years. minutes earlier amanda berry and her six-year-old daughter were broken out of their prison.

moms out there. live doppler 7hd right now showing you a band of low clouds and fog. we have a stronger onshore wind component and all of this will sink back in through the bay and head inland overnight tonight. so, yes, get ready for cooler temperatures the first part of the work week, most of these winds are gusting out of the north northwest. half moon bay, 22. sfo, 23. and check out through the gaps in fairfield. gusts to 30 miles-per-hour. san jose, a gust at 23 miles-per-hour. and, yes, you can see what i'm talking about. i with the strong onshore winds the sutro cam showing you the clouds at the golden gate bridge. it's making its way into the bay and will head inland by early tomorrow morning. san francisco right now, 61. half moon bay, 57. mt. tam, you can see our tam cam looking out at richardson bay. clear sky.

santa rose, 79. here's the forecast. clouds move inland and then a breezy, cooler temperatures monday, and it looks like it will be dry through the extend portion of the work week. overnight temperatures with the fog, maybe even some mist and drizzle northeasterly the coast. all this moving inland in the mid-to-low 50s. 55 for san francisco, and over the past couple of ds, high pressure has brought us this nice, clear sky. also some warm temperatures. it will start to back off this evening and that's go to allow this cold front to get very close to the bay area, and will increase our low clouds and fog, bringing us cooler air mass and winds of of the north northwest. we'll start to pick as well. so at the coast, mid-to up er 50s. here's a look at the highs for the bay area, 74, san jose, santa cruz, 74. the peninsula, only the mid-to-low 70s tomorrow. palo bay, 58.

i'm not a proponent of fans making a difference in a game but it did just that today. a total team effort. three big guys with foul trouble. harrison barnes, 20 years old, the game of his life, and on this mother's day, mark jackson was like a proud father talking about his team. >> i've been talking about this group all year long. and i'm just so glad that national tv audience had an opportunity to see exactly what's been taking place in this area. a bunch of warriors. no pun intended. >> the biggest thing with the team is we're never going to give up. just going to continue to fight, continue to fight, and when the shots are falling, aren't, in half when things aren't going right, this team never gave up. >> mike: we're on to san antonio for game five tuesday night. more times that not whoever wins game five wins the series. this warrior team believes they
