>> abc7 news starts right now with live breaking news the. >> good morning, at 5:00, the breaking news in an important location that gave firefighters caution. >> in sunnyvale firefighters are battling a two alarm blaze in a plant run by the biggest defense contractors in the world. abc7 news reporter cornell bernard is at the lockheed martin space systems. >> firefighters responded just after 3:00 a.m. we are told this fire is out. sunnyvale fire department has about seven engines on the scene and saying this was an

electrical fire which was centered to the building 150 on the west side of the complex. according to the sign in front of building 150 it is where research is done on ballistic missile defense systems and airborne lasers. that was a scary sign according to firefighters and prompted them to approach with a lot of caution. >> certain buildings that carry hazardous material we would have a great risk working but this was a building that we did not have the concerns to deal with. >> firefighters say there were no missiles inside this building but mostly where paperwork is done. the interview with the captain was done through a fence because this is a top-secret secured location. this is huge complex, too, finding the fire was challenging for firefighters and it is at least 200 acres here in

the hospital. six-year-old aileen quiroz was killed walking home from school yesterday afternoon. she was on the way to her aunt's house on bluefield drive in san jose when hit. she died at the scene and her aunt and 2-year-old sister were kit. the family says the aunts is in icu with broken hip and a collapsed lung. the 2-year-old is expected to be okay. the family says it is just devastating to think this little girl would was so full of life is gone. >> she was an angel and very happy all the time. >> police say the driver of the s.u.v. would hit the family did stop and is cooperating with police. officers say they do now think drugs or alcohol are to blame. they are still investigating.

they are still looking into whether charges should be filed. they have not said whether the driver was speeding but residents say speed is a concern on this road, it is a circumstantial street but it is a thoroughfare that connects to capitol expressway. they say there was talk of trying to get speed bumps put in here on bluefield but nothing ever came of it. >> teams will gather again this morning if lake county to search if a missing nine-year-old girl with severe autism. authorities say the search for mikaela renee lynch will move in a different direction because of new surveillance video. clear lake police say the video from a neighbor's camera shows milk mechanic running up the street after she was last seen at her family's vacation home. authorities state video reduces the possibility she went across the street and into the water. neighbors are asked to check their immediate surroundings for any sign of mikaela renee lynch. >> the 12-year-old boy charged

in the stabbing death of his younger sister will appear in juvenile court today. the brother of eight-year-old leila fowler was charged with second-degree murder with a special allegation for the use of a dangerous weapon. we are not show his face because he is a minor. defense attorneys want him released from custody becaused on his cooperation. >> we will ask for that. and urge that. at this same, we don't know if that is a possible but we hope it is. >> officials released the step mother's 9-1-1 call. she called police after the 12-year-old called her to report an intruder in the house. she did not know that leila fowler had been killed. we posted the call online at abc7news.com. >> a man on a mission to promote a soccer charity has been killed while on a walk to brazil. this is the last video he posted
