northbound 880 away from the coliseum after the game. this happened at 10:36 last night. police say 15 rounds were fired from a semi automatic gun at at pore be and both the driver and the passenger were shot. the drive was found dead inside the car. the passenger was found dead on the highway. he had been shot and they believe he was hit by a car. >> this is a case where we will get to the bottom of it. we will identify the parties involved who were doing the shooting and bring them to justice prosecuting them to the full it extent of the -- fullest extent of the law. this is northbound 880 at the jackson on-ramp and they shut down all lanes at 880 as thousands of people were trying to get him from the game. 880 did not re-open until 2:40 this morning. the killer got away and officers do not know the motive.

>> covering daly city, dublin, los gatos and all bay area this is abc7 news. >> welcome back at 6:14. we are following developing news, part of the castro valley road is closed after a sheriff deputies opened fire on a man and hit him. abc7 news reporter cornell bernard joins us to tell us what led to the gunfire. >> we can say that on-ramp is still shut down to westbound 580 because of the police investigation with lots of sheriff deputy cars including the suspect vehicle which is still here. it has been shut down since 11:00 when an alameda sheriff deputy spotted a stolen car and pulled over the driver the driver got out and ran. the second person of the your tried it drive off, dragging that deputy a short distance. that is when another deputy opened fire, one suspect we are told was injured in that

stabbing that left a woman and child dead is due in court today. 28-year-old ruben ramirez is charged with killing his own mother and nephew and attempted murder of his niece. the niece is still recovering. san jose police say the victims were attacked at a home on wednesday afternoon. he suffers from schizophrenia and is scheduled to be arraigned today on murder and attempted murder. >> richmond police need help finding the killer of a woman called "granny." several shots hit the 64-year-old sleeping in her bed on wednesday night. she died after being rushed to the hospital. bullet holes riddled the side of the home and detectives believe the shooter targeted her son who suffered minor injuries after be grazed by a bullet. >> an 11-year-old girl is safe and a salinas man is in jail after being arrested in a federal raid on child pornography. the 58-year-old david stevens was arrested on wednesday after a nation-wide manhunt.
