>> live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news. >> a massive police presence along interstate 880 at jackson street in oakland after a shooting ended with the deaths of two men and tied up traffic for hours after the warriors game. >> the c.h.p. says it appears two people in cars or people in two cars were shooting at each other. amy hollyfield joins us from the c.h.p. office in oakland. any word on the suspects? >> no arrests yet but we have learned investigators are looking at surveillance video from the coliseum to see if the two victims were at the warriors

game. who they talked to, if they were there. investigators think the two victims were targeted. the porsche was shot at more than a dozen times from a semi-automatic weapon. they do believe someone in a dark-colored s.u.v. pulled up next to the porsche and started shooting. they were wearing warriors testimony shirt and driving away from the coliseum after the game at 10:38 at night. they cannot confirm that is where they were coming from. they say they do think the victims were targeted. both were shot to death and police say they believe they ruled out road rage. >> road rage, you would have someone throwing something from the vehicle and often shots are fired it is one, two, or three, random. in this case, it does not appear in this incident because, again,

the volume of rounds that were fired. >> police shut down interstate 880 for four hours last night as thousands were trying to get home from the warriors game. i talked to a man who sat on the highway for two hours without moving. they had to shut it down because the investigation spanned several lanes. the driver was found dead in the car. his passenger either was ejected from the car when the driver hit the guardrail or the center divide or he jumped from the car. he was in the middle of 880 and he was hit by a truck. he was shot and hit. they have not released the name of the victims but probably in their mid-20's or early 30's and are registered at addresses in contra costa county. again, as this point, no arrests have been made. >> thank you. castro valley boulevard will stay closed at interstate 580 until noon for the investigation of an officer-involved shooting. it happened after 11:00 when the

sheriff deputies say they spotted a stolen camp and the driver ran off but another person was behind the while and tried to drive away dragging a deputy a short distance. another deputy shot the suspect who now is hospitalized. two people were arrested at the scene. >> the owner of a cruz party bus company charged in the death of a passenger is making his first court appearance today. this is our first look at john st. james in court this morning. the 56-year-old was arrested two days ago after he was indicted on vehicular and voluntary manslaughter by a grand jury in san jose. the passenger, 25-year-old natasha noland, was killed when slow fell from the bus after a concert. investigators say she was fighting with another woman would fell out but survived. >> the owner of the italian team competing in the america's cup is arrived in san francisco

abc7 newsabc7 news reporter corl bernard has a preview. >> we have bicycles, helmets and water bottles as far as the eye can see. the tour is officially here in the bay area. it is exciting stuff, pro riders, fans, amateur bicyclists who gathered at the starting lineup in south san jose and amateur riders got a chance to race the very same course the pros will race. the riders are benefiting antiobesity programs in santa clara county and the tour rolls into the bay area after five days of intense racing across the state. the fans who are riding say it will be tough but they up to the challenge.
