firefighters brought in a 35' larder. 21 were arrested for public intoxication and 15 taken to sobering centers. police broke out 20 house parties. 80,000 people took part in bay to breakers this year. >> martinez police are holding a woman on charges of deliberately setting a brushfire that threatens some hopes. video shows police arresting the 48-year-old woman minutes after the fire break out yesterday afternoon. she is jailed, also, on arson and drug-related charges. the flames when racing to the homes nearby. >> it took five minutes to burn this down. >> almost across the court, close by, very close. >> shocking when you got home to see that? shocking and areay. >> crews kept the flames from damaging property and was fully contained in a few hours.

>> there is a fire near yosemite national park that destroyed one home and threatening others the fire at yosemite lake park broke out at 3:00 yesterday afternoon. firefighters used water dropping aircraft to help control the flames. this morning it is at 91 acres and 60 percent contained. >> emergency crews in the midwest are sending if people who could be trapped or injured after tornadoes and severe storms hit a region from oklahoma to missouri overturning semi trucks and leveled communities. a tornado was spotted near wichita, kansas and one in iowa. one person was killed, a 79-year-old man near oklahoma city and another 20 people were injured. forecaster say more severe weather is on tap with eastern oklahoma and central missouri most at risk for tornadoes. >> yahoo will announce a major deal buying the sole networking site tumbler for $1.1 billion.

prostitutes and making phony arrests. he faces a possible ten-year prison sentence under a deal with the prosecutors. he said he suffered from depression and post-traumatic stress. >> oakland police are investigating two deadly shootings in less than 14 hours. the latest happened on west street near 29th street shotly before 6:30 last night. it is the 39th homicide of the year. earlier, a shooting in the day happened on 92nd avenue near international boulevard. oakland police say both victims were men and offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. >> judge is expected to decide today how many workers can take part in a two-day strike against university of california medical centers representing 13,000 health care workers has a walk out tomorrow morning which will affect all five uc medical centers including uc san francisco. officials say they want the judge to limit the size of the

walkout in order to protect patient safety. the two sides are locked in a dispute over contract issues including workers' pension contributions, which has canceled elective surgeries for a few days. >> today it will be tougher for worker whose lost their jobs to get help. call takers at unemployment offices will only answer calls from 8:00 a.m. until noon and then you can only get help online. the employment development department is cutting phone service in half so workers can help customers in person in the afternoon. they say losing 158 million in federal funding forced the reduction. >> san francisco resident whose have something to say about a proposed increase in garbage fees have another chance to speak up starting at 9:00 this morning. the initial proposal called for the three-bin household to pay $6.60 each month for a typical bowl of $45. a review by staff and the public
