if you look, you can see thin traces of faint white smoke, firefighters checking for hot spots. this is a orinda fire district. this is what we know. about 40 homes were threatened by the nir next to the park. at the peak there were 90 firefighters this, is the view from sky 7. it started just before 1:30 and the fire was quickly upgraded from two alarms today three alarms. orinda oaks park. crews assisted the fire department using air tankers, fire engines and bull dozens. -- bulldozers and the fire captain says a strong attack quickly had the fire contained. now, fog check was used, that is dropped from planes that

the protestors upset city college wants to layoff faculty and snaf an effort to reduce its budget deficit. the group says it will not leave until it can meet with the chancellor over the cuts. >> east palo alto police declared a crime emergency today, put morgue officers on the streets to combat a spike in gang violence. at east one person opened fire on the 16-year-old last night. the teenager just dropped off his brother. the brother believes his brother was the victim of mistaken identity, asking us not to show you his face. >> and it was probably mistaken identity. and as soon as they dropped me off, i heard gunshots. >> two other teenagers will
