not just happening in millbrae but headed up north wind toppled a tree in mill valley at the same time at 9:10 and it fell on some power lines on northern avenue near highway one. no one was hurt in the incidents just a big hassle. the high wind advisory was in affect for all of the bridges and the advice was campers and trailers should avoid the bridges because it was too windy. they have been lifted the last couple of minutes. it is still very windy and cold. from oklahoma we have new numbers on the devastating impact of the monster tornado. a stunning number of hopes damaged and the financial cost is mindboggling. abc7 news reporter katie marzullo has the latest.

>> 10,000 people impacted, 2,400 homes gone and possibly $2 billion in damages. the national weather service calling the tornado ef-5 as big as they get. this is new amateur video of the twister traveling 17 miles and more than a mile wide at some points. according to tornado history project, there have only been 58 over5's since 1950. moore, oklahoma, is the other city to be hit by one twice. officials do not think they will find anymore victims and they believe everyone is accounted for. that means the tornado killed 24 people including nine children. no one was killed at the elementary school but a teacher suffered a serious injury. her leg was impaled as she protected her students and her two daughters among the students. >> i asked my daughter if she could see, if it was something

>> new this morning, san mateo county will hire 25 people to help implement president obama's affordable health care act taking affect in january. our media partner, the san jose mercury news reports that the county will recruit workers this month. it will be their job to help process the expected flood of new applications for new benefits. the board of supervisors authorized the hiring cost $3.6 million to hire everyone but the federal government will reimburse the county for half the amount. >> tomorrow, the bart board will vote on issue of allowing bicycles on trains during rush hour. the "contra costa times" reports the agency is ready to relax the bicycle restrictions after a survey found few rider complaints during a one-week test of relaxed rules in march. however, two bart directors say they still want some restrictions and will decide in several months whether to make the change permanent. if approved, it would go in affect on july 1.
